never say never...everybody also said RI would never allow medical use either.now we have 2 dispensaries and its decriminalized for everybody else.times are changing!

A bill is being brought up in the state legislature for full legalization again this year. I heard its gaining momentum so who knows. I'd say it's possible in the next few years. The only way I think you will see the big tobacco or corporations come in is with it being removed as a schedual 1 by the Feds and I think that's a ways off.

same bill has been brought up for years but you are correct its getting closer and closer every year.just look at the whole country-60% now favor full legalization! the government needs to stop being so corrupt and just change the law.really pisses me off to the max.hemp too.hemp would be USA miracle crop.#1 resource.you can make anything out of hemp.between legalizing bud and taxing it and growing hemp for its thousands of resources this country would be right back on track without all the debt.
pretty sure hemp has been being used for a ton of things already and if i remember right, someone said that hemp being so available would cut out alot of products which are big companies main income. forgot the several big names but pretty much like using all resources to make a natural energy instead of oil... obviously the big oil compaies who are pig rich wouldnt like this.... last sentance being an example.
