will these cfl's be sufficient?

So for vegging, will I be good with four 26 watt 5500K cfls and 2 23 watt 2700k cfls.

I know they say to use 6000-6700k for vegging, but will what I have be sufficient?

I couldnt find anything over 5500 k at home depot:cuss:. Any idea where to get some in the 6000 range?

Thanks

anybody at all?
you should be alright with that spectrum for veg, but you should definately get some 6500k's and when youre ready to flower switch out your 6500k bulbs with 2700k and vice versa. I use a 3:1 color temperature bulb ratio for veg and flower. you should stray away from home depot as their employees are as knowledgeable in their department as a wal mart greeter. if you can goto lowes, they carry a 6 pack of 23watt 6500k bulbs for $10, and walmart also carries 6500k bulbs. I use a total of 13 23watt bulbs in a 30" x 18" x 24", and i have a total of 21 bulbs in a 30" x 18" x 40" space and i do 4 plants at a time in rotation.

id say that's enough..i've used alot less. just try to keep a cfl at midpoints of the plant not just the top so you get light to all areas of the plant and yeah home depot sucks balls with cfls they carry them for house lighting not growing but i think lowes might give you a better selection.

That the space is 3x3 doesn't say much. Is that entire area for growing? Basically you want 50-100w actual per sq ft. 3x3 is 9 sq ft. You don't have enough light for that. But if like most people the area to cover the plants is only 2x2 even though the space is 3x3, suddenly you only need half as much light.
