should have done some research first but i germinated 10 seeds and planted them directly in the ground outdoors. soil is pretty good and weather is good...will they grow or did i waste my seeds??? thanks everybody
For me, it is still a little early to plant directly outdoors. I have to wait till the second week of May to be safe. So as long as you don't have any chance of a late frost and if it does not rain too much, you should be fine.
ive been watching the weather forecasts carefully and from what they say im not expecting any frosts or cold temps (but what does the weather channel know) so lets hope theyre right. also this is my first grow so any other advice is appreciated
I would keep watching to see what the weather does but you should be fine.
If you see that it might get a little cold at night just make a little shelter for them. I have cut the bottoms off of old milk jugs so that they fit right over the top of the seedlings. Gives them enough of a barrier to resist the cold night weather.
Other than that just keep them watered and maybe add some nutrients every now and then. Outdoor herb is so much better than indoor in my opinion. What seeds are they anyway? Just bagseed?
yea ive got 8 seeds that came out of bags not quite sure what the strains are and 2 diesel seeds i got from a buddy of mine. got the diesel a little closer to home as i wanna keep a close eye on those.
for the milk jugs should i remove them in the mornin/afternoon when it warms up??
I think that you can grow it in almost any conditions with the right care so you should be all good if ya look after em. I have seen people grow plants in snow before so they can survive just about anywhere.
