I started with FFOF, and it worked awesome for me. I only used organics in it though. I used the same pots of FFOF for 3 full grows, before I added a bunch of crap to turn it into a true no-till living soil. Im not a fan of their liquid nutes, other than Big Bloom, but to each his own.

If this is your first grow just treat it as a baseline to improve from next time.. try to learn as much as possible about the whole process and then yields follow with experience. My first 3-4 grows we're always well below my expectations, just try not to set your self up for disappointment. regarding topping, you look like your about ready to do it. preferably you want to wait until the nodes are no longer symmetrical, usually 5-7 nodes.
