Will This Be Enough Light?

Hey all!
So after a really eye-opening and awkward talk with my father, he told me all his stories about growing marijuana before I was born. Now, we've decided to team up and build a grow room.
I want to have 6-8 plants going that are clones and have a mother alive to clone from.
My questions are:
Will this be enough light to grow 6-8 plants?
Can I buy 2 and use one for the flowering room as well?
Should I get a separate light source for my mother plant? (Maybe 2- 4ft florescent or something)

yeah mate, 600w will be perfect for 6-8 plants providing you aint planing on growing trees lol as for a mother plant a 250w metal halide is what you want ideally, flourescent tubes are good for clones/seeds but not really good enough for mothers IMO.

Thanks Man. Lighting is always the hardest part for me when I plan my growop because I'm not always sure what type of light to get and what ballast to get; you know, the actual electrical lingo and BS lol

If you have the funds mate go for the new digital ballasts that are dimmable well worth the money

I don't have the funds lol...yet. Idk, maybe. We are in the beginning stages of designing. We are gonna pool our money for a little while and them go on out and build this baby

personally i wouldn't put more than 4 under a 1 600.
i find veg to 18-24 inches 4 fit perfect,depends on size you want to grow.
