Will this cabinet work?

Would be doing hempy buckets, or a soil grow.

I have a few questions though, do you think the plans on the picture are good? Should I use soil, and then crop 'em? What would increase yield on this cabinet? I dont think a scrog or anything would be good.

yea its plenty for 1 plant, try hanging the light fixture then making it so you can just raise it as the plant gets larger. your gonna have 0 growth sideways. and even adding anything to the sides (mylar, lights...) might be pointless, once the plant is in there, the canopy will cut off all light to everything underneath it.

another option would be to top the plant, and have 2 main colas, probably your best bet.

Im going to be using CFL's for my first grow. So do you think I'd get better yields off 1 nicer plant, or 2 plants lollipopped?
Edit: Also, how much are a 150w hps ballast? I have a bulb, but no ballast ):

ive seen them come in the reflector/ballast combo together. I would rather have the ballast outside the room to take the heat away. Try a google search? cfl flowering is almost a waste of time.

So I'm thinking about lollipopping a plant such as a lowryder or shortryder. Just because of limited space. I feel like I could get 2 in there.

dont top em man theyre on a set time limit to grow and you dont want to delay it at all. just make sure the pots are large enough and you have adequate lighting which can easily be achieved in your cabinet, mylar the walls and buy some light socket splitters and put some 23 watt cfls in there and i would go buy a few of those $10 flourescent grow lights from walmart and hang em vertically on your walls. theyre a cheap and easy. youll need to keep air moving as well

Thanks guys for the help, I like the 10$ fluoro idea. I feel like I could pull off a beautiful girl in here. Any ideas on some good strains that would be good in a space like this!? Looking for something that will make me say "Wow" after I smoke it. I'm tired of the usual buying, and figured I'd love to have my hand at my own baby.

Any training or techniques that you guys would use in here? Was thinking about putting 2 strips of wood and have 2"x2" chicken wire in between them for a nice little scrog but then I was almost thinking thatd be taking it too far. But who knows! Im trying to maximize yield and have a wonderful smoke afterwards

Should I use lst on a topped plant(which has 2 main colas) so it grows a bit horizontal first?
