Will this hurt my plant during flowering

Got a plant in a 5 gallon bucket that stands around 7 ft an I had to bury the bucket because you could see them over my six foot privacy fence.
Last night I dug a hole approx. 4 ft deep so I could set the buckets in. Today I noticed the white hairs were retracting back. Is this okay to do?
Does the stalk of the plant need sun too?
Dont wont my neighbors to see them because they smoke too.

They seem to be doing good like this, we'll see what happens.
Yeah my neighbors are a pain in the arse. If they only knew..lol I bet she would jump that six foot fence like a spider monkey

I would def keep an eye on them. A bet a 4 ft hole can be quite damp. Interesting though, going to follow. Good Luck!
