will this work and what problems might i face

find a very remote location and take in shovel, potting soil and seeds on the back of the 4 wheeler dig 5 holes pour in soil and plant 2 seeds in each hole then do that another 50 times or so over a very large area with no more than 5 plants in each spot all spot marked on gps for later locating and letting the plants grow naturally 100% other than removing the males after the 3rd week or so

i was planning on trying to get my tiller out there but that would be very hard to accomplish so simply digging a hole and puttng in a good soil mix should be fine ...right? any suggestions about what i can do to improve the yield and quality without having to make alot of visits would be greatly appreciated


also the plants will not start flowering until fall if i have read right so i am only looking at having 1 harvest is this right or is there a way i can have more than 1 harvest?

You will need to protect each plot from animals coming along. Also, your best bet would be to sprout them all at home under floros and then plant them.

yea i know im already pissing in bottles and saving hair going to try to get some cougar shit from the zoo this week(crossing fingers)

i realize that woudl make the outcome much better but there is no way i can sprout a couple hundred plants at my house

would germinating them and planting the seeds already sprouted be any better you think?

yes im well aware of it and have read it numerous times but my plan is kind of deviating from the perfect way of doing things and im just wondering if it will work out with good results

most plots will not survive without some sort of fence, i like the green plastic chicken netting because it is hard to see unless right by it. as for urine and hair, i have found them to be next to worthless, any deer or woodchuck will become used to a scent after a few days to a week. Another tip would be to sprinkle osmocote 14-14-14 around the base of the plant, it is a good time release fertilizer that will keep you from ferting all season.

Well, yeah u have to germinate the seeds b4 u plant them. Also it would be better to put just one seed in each hole.

sorry i wasn't clear on that, you should wait 3-4 weeks before you first fertalize them, untill then they will be fine with the starter soil, unless you use a soilless mix like peat, then i would suggest ferting earlier. also like kush said, it would be much better to start them indoors and only go one plant per pot.

you mentioned stinging nettles are similar plants. I want to experiment and create an environment that will support marijuana growing. Therefore growing stinging nettles sound like it would be a good learning experience. Any other plants that are similar to marijuana that I can practice on?

Since being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, my goal is only for personal use. A small indoor environment is what I am looking for. Don't want a huge investment in equipment unless necessary. With the Feds cracking down on the Washington state dispensaries, I am reluctant to purchase a medical marijuana. My doctor encouraged me to grow a few plants. Bought 3 books on the subject. They seem extremely accurate alright, but they assume you will put a huge investment in the growing process. Is all that necessary? Can I simply just grow a few plants at home with little expense? Or am I doomed to failure without an involved layout?
