WilliamWonka's 2010 Outdoor

Dragon - thanks for the post. We were thinking about doing a pump mainly to transfer the water to the op. Not to auto water. Right now we are lugging 5 gallon buckets uphill from the stream. The stream is spring fed but the actual spring is miles away. The idea with the pump was to hook the leads up on a car battery when we went to water/feed, and unhook it when we leave. I have seen gravity fed water for houses that had 3000+ gallon reservoirs on them. Thats a whole different ballgame though. I guess for now we will lug the water when we go.

We have a Bubba Kush that will go to her new home next weekend as well.

Big thanks to everyone for their comments.

Pressure gauge and a nozzle, tha'ts not an auto water, its a manual water. Just turn the nozzle at the res, and fill your watering can at the spigot at your op. 3000 gallons provides a hell of a lot more pressure than you would ever need for your op (unless your op was mine :P). a trash can reservoir per plant would be sufficient IMO.

Spring Fed = Fill reservoirs just in case. Never know when it will stop. My uncles spring stopped providing water for his grow in September one year out of no where, was a very labor intensive year for him (and my cousins).

What are you going to do if the battery stops/doesn't work?

My friend on the other side of the mountain uses the set up I described, I set it up for him 4 years ago. two trash can reservoirs per plant in the ground, the reservoirs top up from the spring fed creek after every time he waters without him doing anything (syphon pressure). His spring fed creek runs dry every year at the end of Sept. and he usually avgs about a lb per plant. In the whole four years, all we have had to do was move the feed line up so it doesn't get buried by sediment.

this is the exact info i was looking for. you can read about how to set stuff up all day long but it is always alot better from people that have actually done it. I was also thinking about digging a shallow board well and sticking a hand pump in it. Either setup is going to be labor intensive.

Got those pictures finally. A few of the males and a few of the Willow clones that are in flower. The females are about 4 weeks in.

All three green-o-matic seeds have popped up. The purple haze has as well. We are anxious to see how the outside girls look this weekend after all the rain we got.

Nice, you should get a shit load of seeds.
You dont have two different strain males in there do you?

Went and fed today. Some of the plants have gone into flower. Gonna have to move them to where they can get more light. Hopefully they will go back into veg. The Himalaya Gold got a little top heavy and 4 branches broke, but the tops are growing back towards the sun. We have a lot of work ahead of us this week as many clones are ready to go out.

Quick update on the seed box. The males have been taken out and all pollen harvested from them. But let me assure you they released enough pollen inside the box to pollinate 100+ plants. All of our clones have nothing but seeds on them. We have two different strains seeded with the cheese male. Willow which is a short bushy hybrid that was taken from a bag from California. And King's Kush. We are calling the Cheese/Willow cross Baby Swiss and they are only about 10 days out. Not sure about the Kush/Cheese cross. Any suggestions for a name?

Haven't been to the outside girls in about a week and a half. Kinda trying to stay away for now since its been raining at least once a week. We will be going this weekend for pics.

Went and set the rest of the clones out today. Took some pictures of the others. One picture of a seeded clone as well. The outside plants are still in flower. Kinda pisses me off.
