Congratulations.

Hoping for reviews as well.

@TorusHydro
Would it not be a good idea if you would pick a grower on this forum and supply him/her it with PerfectPH and do a grow journal?
A good idea indeed! We'd love to get a grow journal with the PerfectpH on here...any volunteers? If so, I bet we can squirrel away another unit or two for you guys ;)

You should open a topic in the Hydro section about this.

@TorusHydro so I’ve read on another forum that it’s best when you have an established root system, is that true or will it work on a reservoir without any plants as well? I’m having to adjust a separate top off res of mine with ph down everyday due to an air stone. Would also be nice when brewing beneficial teas as well. Top dressing with ph’d tea water couple times a week instead of high ph tea

The pH is your tea might have to do with the fact that you bring a lot of CO2 while you are brewing.

I do not know that much yet about the PerfectPH, but I am pretty sure it will not work in any reservoir that is not in touch with developed roots.
But curious about the answer as well.

Yeah my main concern is my rdwc/Dwc setups. I’ve got 6 plants on one res right now and am having to add ph down just about every day. Using a pretty big air pump and stone

Perhaps you don't need such a big pump to get to maximum DO?
But we are getting off topic.

Yep it’s what I have. I use it for multiple reservoirs sometimes and for brewing. Sometimes all at the same time. Which is why I’m so interested in this product. If it does what it says it does then it is well worth the money to me

I’d love to do a journal. Starting a new 30g hydro run in a couple weeks. I’d be willing to pay for it if it does indeed work
Nice! You planning to run your RDWC or your AutoPot on the upcoming grow? I will coordinate with the team to see what kind of hook ups we can give you guys. :)

For the capsule models, established roots are needed in a recirculating system for it to work, but the Inline Edition models can used inside a reservoir or pre-treatment tank with a pump without requiring rooted plants.

Regarding teas, we're still researching into effectivity of the devices with beneficial teas but haven't confirmed this yet, right now we typically recommend using with mineral (non-organic) nutrient mixes. Just FYI.

I’ve done a review journal for HLG before check my threads. I’m down to test this out for a whole grow.

Hey Germling! Just checked out your system specs, are both your set-ups using organic nutrients? Right now we mainly recommend use with mineral nutrients. If you've got an all-mineral-nute grow you'd be interested to test with then the device would definitely be a good fit for you.

Let us know and if it's a good fit I can see what we can do about hooking things up. Cheers!

The nutrient I run is called Megacrop. I was told it has salt and organic inputs.

Okay that’s good to know. Yes this run will be 8x 4g sites and a 8g reservoir. I’ve got 8 cuttings in Rockwool ready to go in my system in about a week. I also use synthetic nutes. Okay that makes sense because at the time of the thread I read, you had just came out with the inline version so makes sense.
