window between LED light and plants for grow cabinet

can I use a window to put between my LED lights and my plants in a grow cabinet to keep the heat out of the cabinet? as it turns out the leds I have do create some heat, and I want a sealed room with temps around 29 ,... not 35!!! Thanks

yeah i dont see why not. seems like it would be a mini "greenhouse" effect... lol

i used a giant clear plastic tub and cut it to a good size, then keep the air flowin.. works great.

just like a plastic storage container from wal mart. just clear plastic so the light travels through. i cut the bottom of it out. something like this.

it seems to me like you would lose a lot of light through that type of plastic!

it didnt really seem to bother, they grew the same speed I would say if not better because the temp was more controlled.
