Would I be able to put my 4 clones on my windowsill till my light gets here? my window gets direct sunlight all day. My light will probably take a week to get here would the clones last?

They may get a little stretched but my friend has 6 in a windowsill now.

Maybe some cfls?

As long as you got high humidity...a windowsill would be sufficient enough light. Clones don't need much light at all, really...it should do.
What kind of light you got comin'?

open the window so it gets the direct light and a little breeze. also rotate the pot or what ever you have them in every few hours if possible. I started mine like that and now they are on my balcony in pots. you will be impressed check out my album.

most windows have screens bugs shouldnt be an issue. if not then dont open.
haha...yeah, i was thinking the same thing.

But really...you shouldn't have any problem with stretch if they're clones...most likely you will get little if any vertical growth.

I have screens. I've watched the bugs attempt to figure out how to get in...it's like they have these detectors that your place is full of goodies for them. When I "do" open my windows to clean them...there are a hundreds of dead ladybugs that attempted to get in..they weren't coming after my plants.
I wouldn't risk it.

Yes, lady bugs eat the "bad" bugs...when they aren't falling on their backs and dying that is, LOL.
But that was my point...
I spent months on end getting rid of mites like nobody's business-----recently my AC broke down and I couldn't get anyone in for a couple of days. Because the heat was miserable, I had no choice but to open ALL windows.
All that hard work down the drain.
I'm at war again.:fire:
