South-east or South-west window w/unobstructed view could provide enough light to grow a plant . . . tho it'd likley be leggy (tall w/sporatic growth). With a little care, I'd think such a plant could live indefinitely, tho it'd go into flower when the days got too short.
This plant (pic) I started under 24/0 lighting. When I put it into bud, I suspected it was hermie, so I separated it (took it out of any artificial light)and waited. Well, it turned out to be a female sativa, which I've left out, by a South facing window that doesn't even get any direct sunlight. That was about 2 months ago and it's doing great, with potentially the biggest, fullest buds I've ever grown. Pic a few weeks old. Much fuller flowering now.

May I suggest you keep your planter(s) on the smaller side for this type of experiment? Too big and this plant will spend it's energy rooting instead of growing vegetation.

yeah i dont have much room, only a windowcill, so i'd keep the containers small, so im keepin it in the south window, where ive started plants before. lets say it does go into flowering, how long can i keep it in flowering? till like, christmas? lmfao, that'd be awsome.

There's really no reason it wouldn't flower completely . . . this will just take longer. Mine's at least 3 months old and I see no signs of it being anywhere near ready to harvest.
So, you could keep it in flower until it's ripe and ready for stoning, which could be Xmas or even later?

Since you're doing this as an experiment, for more even growth, maybe mark 'south' on your planter and turn your planter 1/4 every day? I mark 'south' on my window plant containers just in case I get confused, so I can put them back in a comfortable position, like after watering. I hope I've kinda explained this right.

this'll be sick, the germ'd seed is like really long right now, so i should probs get on that.
