Wine Glass Experiment

I have made my own little grow pot to fully utilise the heat from the sun so that all the roots get some nice heat aswell.

I have a wine glass with cotton wool layered on the bottom (for drainage) and soil on top. I have yet to plant a seed in it yet as they are still germinating.

Note that this is only a temp. measure so that i can start off my little babys strong inside from young and then transplant once they are developing nicely.

What do you guys think? Is there any problems with my plan? Anybody done anything similar?

WTF...........Don't use a glass....put in proper pot, sun will kill your roots....
Don't use cotton...the roots will get all tangled, thats not really that serious but cotton will only absorb the dirt and then plug, use some gravel, just put in boiling water to sterilize. Plus how DO you drain a glass ??????You say you haven't planted yet........
Go to FAQ at top and read..read..read..ask quest..read..........etc In this case curiosity didn't kill the cat, but grew a pot plant.....
