Wireless Cameras?

What is a good Wireless Camera to buy?
What features are needed?
Most on ebay is pure junk direct from china and I have no idea what to look for?

i would like some more info on this as well, although i would suggest a more security/surveillance oriented forum if we want more direct and experienced answers. but idk maybe someone will suprise me here at RIU

What kind of wireless camera are you referring to? I've got some recommendations for wireless LAN video cameras (if the camera will be near a wireless network), or motion sensor trail cameras if it's for a remote grow area. Are you trying to get photos/video of your plants, or are you more worried about verifying if people are stumbling across your grow site?

I have a legal home garden. Just a little something to watch. What is the range for the lan cameras? That sounds GOOD!

Unfortunately wireless IP cameras are relatively expensive, and usually designed for indoor use. I'm using this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881382001&cm_re=surveillance-_-81-382-001-_-Product which works well for me. It's wireless G, so the range depends on several factors, most important of which is how many walls are between your router and camera. I'd say probably 100-150 feet in most instances would be a reasonable expectation.

If you'd rather go with a 2.4 Ghz (similar to what a cordless phone operates on) instead of WiFi, you could go with something slightly less expensive, and more suited for outdoors such as:
