Just noticed that it goes red for abit when I turn it on? Is that normal? Also it has acouple small brown dots on the bulb, Does that mean its old?

I have 2 lights like them for my driveway(175 watt HPS though),the ballast is built into that light fixture.If everything works you just need to find out the voltage and wire up the plug... G'Luck
