Wiring up 2 Meanwell drivers & dimmer to a Meijiu MAJO-V1.2-1000H-9- I'm lost!

I wondered the same thing, the dimmer I have is only a pot with plug to connect it there's no electronic components to it.
A little electronics is needed to employ 0-10v or PWM dimming, but there's a lot on that meijiu board and I'm guessing it has some additional control features, more than a simple dimmer.

So the last pic Alibaba sent me showing the wires & video is wrong?
For single phase brown is for Line and blue for Neutral(most of Europe and Uk), blue is used in Us and Canada for Line3 in three phase systems. For functional purpose in single phase doesn't matter, the dimmer will work anyway, but for safety you should connect them correctly following the wiring color code.

gotcha! Going to plug it in, I went and got a few Wego's instead of that 2 wire crap. I can't believe the cheapness of the extras" and no instructions

It works...kind of. It lights up bright but it seems the lights are not dimming equally somehow? I agree there is a lot of extra sh*t on the board, component-wise. It works and I've got 2 dimmers from the LED place so not too worried.

The end point is to drop the voltage across the dimming leads, if you drop the voltage at 5V, this level will communicate to the driver to decrease its duty cycle to reduce the output current at 50%(or voltage, depending on the driver). In your case is working on CC mode so is the current that is been reduced.
Btw only the 600h have the dim to off function, the 320h only dims up to 10%.(Bad design)
The advantage of 0-10V and the 10v PWM is that you can connect as many drivers as the dimmer can sink. In the opposite, if you want to control multiple drivers with one potentiometer you need to select a different pot to do it. To control 2 you need(100k/2=50k pot), to control 3(100k/3=33k pot) and so on.
I think the amazon and the rapid are the same.

They are no dimming equaly cause the bars connected to the 320H are drawing more current than the connected to the 600H.
6.7A/3=2.23A +-
12.5A/6=2.08A +-

Yeah, and the supplied wire is so cheap the blue fell out of the Wago. You can strip the wire with your finger, how cheap can they get. I'm actually using the dimmer, at about 80% LEDS themselves look good,, drivers look genuine no fakes.

YUP! I was right, along with others. The cheap LED dimmer actually started on fire after blinking lights on and off like a strobe. Thank god I happened to actually be in the tent (rare) when it happened. I hope the $1000 lights ok, was still working when I ripped out the cord.

what a fucking joke $999.98 led, 2 cent dimmer....

I wonder why they need a bunch of electronics on that dimmer?

FWIW, I like the Rapid LED 0-10V dimmer, it holds a more steady power setting than the cheap pots I've used. It's more than just a pot, it is 0-10V.

Hey do you tie the dimmer wires together +/- from BOTH meanwell drivers and tie them to the pairs to the Rapid led dimmer wires, correct? I don't need 2 dimmers, do I ?

Fucking China    Shit wire, shit connectors, shit dimmers, but I'm sure the rest is top quality bongsmilie Return it and get your money back before your house burns down. HLG is selling qb648's for $1/watt ready to go. 200 watts each.

ok I gather to dim both I need a 5k to dim both, but I read I need a resistor so it doesn't flicker or go to zero?

Yes, connect everything in parallel, + to + and - to -.
One Rapid dimmer should operate both. It's a good idea to keep a spare on hand whether it's a Rapid dimmer or a pot. You get what you pay for with cheap no name pots on ebay, I wouldn't bother with a spare for a name brand like Bourns. They also have ten turn pots for precision control.
I bought one from a Chinese ebay seller once, won't do that again. :wall:

Meanwell drivers use a 100k pot and its a good idea to add a 10k resistor in series as there's a large tolerance on pots and anything under 100k wont give full power.

To control more than one driver, divide those those resistance numbers by the number of drivers..... 50k pot and 5k resistor for 2 drivers.
A larger resistor is no big deal, it just won't dim down as far. Who needs to run a grow light at 10% anyway?
