Too late now,but im using soil that has food in it for 4 months...i was told by some not to feed it nutes until right before flowering. since it has nutes in it already right? if it says is has food for 4 months. i plan to use foxfarm nutes,,when should i start?? knowing i have this treated soil,,,,please!!! i would like a definitive answere, and not wait for a deficiancy to occur

giving seedlings soil that is preferted is no good.usually leads to a guick hot nute death..older plants can be sustained in it....lots an lots dont like it...but the soil will provide nutes for 4 months so during that time you shouldn't need to add any nutes to it...but imo i would start over an use hempy buckets...peace az

Some of those soils are missing some of the other micro-nutrients that you need like magnesium. What brand is it? Maybe you can do a search and find someone who's done a grow in that soil.

I'll answer you, do nothing!!!!

Let them be, and grow. ON day 30 add your ferts at 1/4 the recommended dosage.

Give them 5-7 days and see how they react.

Repeat if you like, but you'll be getting close to flowering then I'd think.

Less is more in this hobby.

you can move from soil to soil, soil to hydro, hydro to soil, hydro to aero....no matter.

BUT, each time you change something, you delay and possibly hinder the overall harvest.

Definitely experiment, as nothing you read will compare with building personal experiences.
