did you do anything special to get the stalks so thick and compact growth? I use a 1000 HPS in a 4 x 4 x 7 ft. tall sunhut (sunhuts are the shit) Flower at 18-24 inches and only yeild an eighth a plant. The stems never bulk up and the plants end up looking like a pathetic twig with a few sparse buds on them. Its pretty depressing to have a perfect set up but cant produce the qulity and quantity you need. Heres some week 3 pics of some of my plants.

It could be just the genetics.. what is your system set up?
Nutes:
Co2?
grow method? ebb, aero, soil etc

Those photos look pretty sweet for week 3 !

The trunks of my plants ended up over 1.5 inches in diameter. I chage my full nute lineup once a week with a flush prior to change out...

I have a seperate clone and seedling space under a 4 tube t5 fixture, above that space is a 400 MH for moms and vegging plants. After theyve grown under the t5's for 2 weeks and MH for 2 weeks I put them under the 1000 HPS. No co2 yet and Im using FFOF but my next batch Im going to cut with 50/50 FFOF and light warrior. Im also going to grow a plant with my old fox farm fertiizers and see what that does. I dont see why my plants seem to stop growing at week 4 and have such an undeveloped root system.

I use pura vida grow 6-4-3 and bloom 2-6-6 with a tbsp of molasses every 2 waterings for flowering plants.

holy shit that is huge nice job please share how you did it???????????????????????and i would say 73.4 grams
Back on page two i linked to my thread that had system design. But, to make a long story short, they had a good enviroment, good nutes, and most importantly, good genetics. Thanks for the compliments!

you know, thats a great question. I have never had buds like that before either. There are several buds that size on this kickdown, and my plan is to hang them, let the outside get crunchy, bag em, let the moisture even out, then hang them again. Eventually i will have to cut them up. That one bud is about 6 months worth of smoke for me, and with the possession limits, i will have to break them up and disperse to other patients.

Wow! Very impressive + rep fa sho! Whens are you gona be done drying?
They have been hanging now for 3 days, i would bet it will take two weeks to dry them, and two more weeks to cure them. They are in a very dry, cool basement that is pitch black. They are drying slow as hell.
