It is easier for the Dr. He sits on a stool and can see everything. It is not the best position for birthing a child.

second child was all natural.... NO epidural/pain meds, NO episiotomy, and delivered standing up...... 3 pushes, and no tears later, we were washing the baby off.... wife got the blood cleaned off of her, and then WALKED downstairs with me to have her first cigarette in 9months.....
