Woomeister's Countdown To Xmas Thread.

Hahahah!!! I know that feeling. This morning I had an empty pit in my stomach, that I was reticent to fill... livin with that queasy feeling.... but it was worth it.

He's getting everything i missed out on! Im very strict though...hes been saying please and thankyou since he was 2 1/2 years old!

same as mate, i get great comfort knowing that my lad's on the right road in life's journey, a nice nature will take him a long way
i heard a good quote the other night, it goes "i started out with nothing and ive still got most of it left" i nearly fell off the chair laughing.

i'd just like to say how refreshing it is to hear parents talking about how manners and good nature are important. damn right they are, if everyone raised their kids like you boys i'm sure the world would be a better place

50 weeks and 5 days til xmas by my count. hopefully the snow will melt between now and then

its nice to be nice

'manners dont cost a penny' and 'you look with your eyes not your hands' two sayings i remember from my childhod...

I ask my little boy, ''whose in charge?'', no reply ''WHOSE IN CHARGE???'' 'You are daddy...'

On a different note he currently starts many of his sentences with 'of it' and uses 'thatwise' as a turn of phrase...So I spend most of my time with him saying ''because, not 'of it' '' ''Thats why, not 'thatwise' '' poor lad I forget he's only just turned 4!!!

'if you can climb up there you can climb down too. otherwise we'll bring you some sandwiches at dinner time' is what stuck in my mind. i'm not sure i had the most normal childhood though haha
