Welcome to my new grow journal.
I just finished my summer/fall grow and It came out better than expected.

I just ordered my seeds 2 days ago and am awaiting to immediately germinate once I recieve them. I chose TH SEEDS strains: MK ULTRA, ATRAIN, and KUSHAGE.
MK Ultra: OG kush x G13
A Train: Afghani Mazar I Sharif x Arcata e-32 Trainwreck
Kushage: OG kush x S.A.G.E.

And I have 3 GH feminized Super Lemon Haze seeds left over. I might grow that depending on the space again.

I'll be using a soiless mix with Advanced Nutrients and CO2

I can report however on my last grow here's my favorite from best to least:
lemon skunk
Chem Dog
Purple Kush
Blueberry Kush
Headband

In a few days I'll be able to give a nice smoke report on super lemon haze...awesome.

Was your Lemon Skunk the Greenhouse variety as well? That was my favorite strain out of my last grow too.

Yeah it was. I originally had a colored mix that included big bang and hawaiian snow, but they didnt sprout. I ended up getting a couple local strains such as the purple kush, headband, and blueberry kush. The purple was nice but the other two were not bad. However, non of them were as good the lemon skunk. Very unique flavor, very nice stoney high.

All 19 seeds came in only one seed was crushed. It was the free la woman seed. Oh well, I still have plenty of seeds to chose from.

Heres what came. 5 Mk ultra, 5 Kushage, 5 Atrain, 1 lemon skunk, 1 blue widow, 1 la confidential. Im also gonna grow my last 3 super lemon haze seeds.
However, I'm only limiting myself to 18 plants that I wont be growing any of the free seeds. I just starting germinating my seeds. I submerge the seeds in water for 24 hrs then I place them onto wet paper towels to crack open.

Here's the plan, I will be vegging under a 400watt mh for the first 2 weeks, then switch to the 600 watt mh. Then both 600w. I'll be using fox farms light warrior then sunshine mix #4 with my organic line of advanced nutrients.

So far all 5 of my Mk ultra cracked open in a day and the radical grew in another day. 4 of the kushage opened and 1 of the Super Lemon haze opened. Those germinated in just 2 days..Really healthy seeds. The a train seeds are really small compared to the rest but theyre opening up...2 radicals showing. Everything else is cracked open. I changed my mind about light warrior and I mixed it 50/50 with fox farms oceans forest. This will give the seedlings a very little bit of nutes since I'll be feeding with r/o water. The store was out of sunshine mix #4 but I wont need that for another 2 weeks or so.

Right now im vegging with my 600 watt mh. My 400 watt was acting weird but this will work much better. Right now all 5 Mk ultras are seedling and sprouted. Same with all 5 Kushage. 2 of my A trains are popping out of the soil and 1 Super lemon haze is doing the same. That means Im waiting for only 5 to finish propagating. I'm really stoked about this grow. Im sure I will have all 18 beautliful females in the end.

So check it. Ill have some new pics soon but i was able to find a good clone dealer who had some TGA strains. I got 4 querkles and 1 Jillybean. This now brings my count to 23 plants. I like to have a bunch of plants vegging so I can compensate for any bad plants (hermies/males). Hell, my last grow I started with 32 plants and was down to 17 in the end. Its what you should anticipate every single grow. I got all my plants transplated. Here's my nutrients line up.

I picked a few items at the local hydro store and now my grow room is finally complete with all the kinks worked out. I didnt like running my a/c and I got me a more powerful fan for my air cooled reflectors. It runs prefectly hands free and and I never have to do anything but water and change co2 tanks. Right now only two of my plants are acting funny. One of my super lemon haze's is much paler than the other ones and one of my mk ultras is kinda lagging behind the rest. Check it out! :leaf:

How long did it take you to get everything in the grow room setup? Like aquire everything for the room?
Where did you buy your lights from?
Is that a carbon filter fan I see in the back ground?
Are you growing in a tent or DIY box?

thanks, it took about 2 years to acquire everything. I first started small with a 3.5x3.5 tent with 400w mh/hps and 4 inch ducting. I got my lights on craigslist from a local seller. Most of my equipment I went searching for it. Currently Im using 3 inline fans. One for independently pushing the hot air from the lights. Another for intake and the last one to carbon scrub in the inside of the tent. And yes, it is a tent and you do see a carbon filter. But as you can see, i lined the tent with mylar and reinforced the ceiling bars. I like to keep everything clean and easy to use. Im soon going to build a cloning box with around 4 shelves for clones and floros .

What size tent is that? Where did you buy your tents? I want one : )

Im afraid of heat while using a tent. I dont have any carbon filter or cooling fan. I just have a 9$ 8inch fan from wallyworld.
What can I do about the heat in the tent?

The tents I have seen in the hydro shop are like 120$ and they are already lined with reflective material?
I thought that was really $$!

Hell ya. I want to get into cloning bad! I have 2 femmed seeds left from my pack that I ordered. Id love to mother them, But I have no knowlage whatsoever on cloneing..

Thought I'd pop in and check out your grow, Word. Pretty cool. Are those 3 gal. pots? Your plants must get huge, how long do you veg for? I'm not familiar with most of those strains, but I'll follow your grow a bit . bongsmilie

Hey, thanks for the rep by the way. I've been cycling my girls in every 4 weeks but I think I'll try and up it to every 2 weeks. 12-15 plants per cycle.

Post some pics of MsJill's creation from time to time, if you dont mind. We can compare pheno types( assuming mines a female)
