I've been really happy with the Somango strain so far. I flowered a little earlier than I usually like to, but it's shaping up to be a decent looking producer. I intend to veg that clone a good while to see what kind of tree I can produce out of her.

When can my babies expect to take off?

This momma is getting impatient....~sigh~ 2 wks from surface break? 3?

Would love some hints here.
My husbands' soil seeds are growing faster than mine.

I know they are two different grows and aren't really comparable....but throw me a bone here.

It's kind of a competition at this point LOL.

Water daily until you have good run off for a few days. You want to keep the dissolved oxygen as high as possible to encourage vigorous growth. Once they're drinking from the res you can back down frequency but you don't want the res to stagnate before then.

Yep, water daily,, Are you using Perlite or Coco? I am thinking Perlite, cause they tend to move faster in Coco :)

My tap ppm is 171. I just watered with 1/3 strength nutes for the first time last night. I was watering everyday up until the 27th because I was getting some leaf curl on my bag seeds....but not on my auto fems. So I gave them a couple days rest in case it was attributed to over watering.

I'm not sure of the ppm with the nutes off the top of my head. Its in my journal here....I think it was around 380 including the ppm of the tap.

I assume you started in your seed in a coco hempy cup and the hubby started in a soil cup, and you just started to feed a couple of days ago....

The soil has the food for a seedling built in, the coco has nothing, that's why you're behind. should have started feeding within a wk of breaking surface. 1/3 strength sounds about right for a seedling, and don't worry or press things, this isn't a sprint. the coco hempy will out preform soil in the same container size.

Yes, you'd be correct.

I think the bag seeds have hit the res, the auto fems are 2 days younger than them so they should be catching up shortly.

I was worried about them being so young and giving the nutrients. You read so much through research sometimes it is just hard to jump in a try something.

Because seedlings and clones do so well in soil I always start them in soil then transplant into hempy, It can simplify the grow.

My current seeds started in soil

2qt soil veg (was rough playin' with organic hot soil) transplanted into perlite hempy with soil cap w/ 3tbls OC 14-14-14 on 2/19 they're a little droopy cause it's easier to transplant when dry.

Flipped on 2/23 to 11/13 (on the verge of hittin the rez)

6 days later (3/1) just about doubled in size.

You will be fine wifey. I got my money on your hempy in your Pepsi challenge. Now that you've started feed, I bet those chicks will start to take off. Let's see some pics.

I'm planning on starting to run more plants in hempys after this run. I've been very happy with the one I've been running. I like that I don't need to worry about the pot getting too dry compared to a regular pot.
She started as a tiny clone that was like three nodes on each branch.

When I grow from Seed, I generally give 1/4 Strength Nutes once I see the 2nd set of True leaves and then go up from there. You will be where you want to be sooner than you think. They will take off and not look back.

My plants at at day 15 of 12/12.

I am using Maxibloom and Liquid Koolbloom in 3.5 gal. Hempys.
Question is, what should be my ppm range, I have read from 1000 to 1800 ppm but that sure seems high to me?

What y'all think?

That seems really high to me but I don't follow common wisdom with feeding. The lowest you could be feeding is 1.5EC which is just about the highest I could see going.
