Here's an update of my summer mixed coco hempys.
The 4 auto crosses, early signs lead me to believe I've got 2 girls and 2 boys. Anyone need any auto male pollen??
World's largest hempy, just watered an hr ago, 5 gals gives me a minimal run off, next time 6gals so I can get near to 20% run-off. Both are building knuckles where they are bent over the screen frame. I may top both in the next wk so I don't have to curl the stalks around the screen before flowering starts.
Indoors day 33 flash photo, back right lemon kush, the other 3 are satori the front 2 are the short flower time pheno. For the first time ever I've had an attack of powdery mildew. I gave them a drench of Ferti-loom at day 27 and it nailed better than 80%. Not going to use it again, too late into flower, so I've mixed up some phosphate bicarbonate, and only spray the infected areas. I think I have it in check but I still have to hit a leaf here and there every day.
Veg box upfront 2 lemon kush clones that will be topped this weekend, back 2 C99 from seed that seem to have stalled.

I took down Kosher Tangie tonight. This was my first attempt at Mainlining in a 2 gal coco /perlite Hempy bucket. Here are a few pics:

Mainlining definitely shaves time off the final takedown. Easily my quickest. I will have some larf to make butter and oil with, no popcorn and I am guessing the final dry bud weight will be in the 4 zip range.

Update for outdoors, 9 days past last photos.
WLH (world's largest hempy) with increased feedings they have really darkened the green, and blown up. I feel pretty good so far with adding food every feeding, since it's been close to 5yrs since I've done it. I did pull out the meter and tested, did some baseline tests to be able to figure out the ppm I was actually feeding, (instead of just bigger scoops without seeing burning). Turns out I'm feeding at 900ppm and I'm going to bump it up next feeding. I've still got another month of veg, and the stretch starting in flower to go, so I'm considering a second bigger screen above.
Second shot of the 2 remaining auto girls, yes the other 2 were boys, I believe they are 44 days after putting the seeds in the soil, so 40 days after breaking the surface.

Thanks ISK. Should have mentioned in the post that I'm still battling PM using the ph basic salt, it's like a good upper cut, it won't kill it, but it does make it stagger a bit, I'm getting a KO here and there but I'm sure there will be some still left at the end.

Here's a couple of shots of the outdoors, the WLH is out of control. I'm now watering it 6gal every 3rd day so thats 1gal/plant/day. I've got to figure out a light control system. Also the auto crosses don't seem to be auto in nature. They are over 50days old and not one sign of a pre-flower, just pairs of hairs. With that in mind I had to do something about their height, I went with the brutal topping.

My deck height is limited by the 2nd fl windows of a few of my neighbors. The WLH is pushing the sight lines right now.
Yesterday I harvested the 2 Satori's pheno #2. They probably could have went another 4 or 5 days but I'm tired of the PM. I tried Jorge Cervantes H2O2 bath, and I could see that it cleaned all the visible PM. Shots below WLH stocks and final is the Satori drying after bath. I trimmed the buds tight right after this and they were still very sticky and fragrant.

Here's something that I have never "personally seen", the re-vegging of a plant. This is my Acapulco Gold that I pulled out of the grow rm over 6wks ago and placed outdoors in an area that didn't get more than 5 hrs of direct sunlight. 10 days ago I thought I'd be harvesting a bunch of marble sized nugs. Not the case even though the little buds quit getting larger they still matured. Then in a matter of 4 days it grew these new soft immature leaves right out of the top cola buds, (same action below also). 10 mins after photos she was in the dumpster.

I was just cruising the general hydroponics website and I ran across a feed chart that applies to hempy's designated drain to waste hydro systems:

This chart calls for 1/4 strength of the recirculating / flood and drain hydro systems which makes perfect sense but what blows me away is I've been running about 950 PPM using the standard chart below with no ill results at week 3 of flower.

Is it standard for most hempy growers to have success with the regular feeding chart that's on the bottles or is the GH drain to waste (i.e. hempy) feeding schedule the better option? I'm a big fan of it it ain't broke don't fix it, but this fired up my curiosity...

Yes I know this is a dumb ass question. I'm making a few hempy buckets tonight out of 5 gallon buckets from ACE. This is new to me. I have only grown in dirt indoors and want to try something different. I've been researching this for the last 4-5 hours. On average it seems 2.5 gallon buckets are mainly used. I'm only growing autos. Is 5 gallons way overboard? Should I just jigsaw the mother in half so it's 2.5 gallons?

it seems the bigger the pot size the bigger the plant, so I don't think a 5 gallon is too big as long as you have the space for a giant....are you growing outdoors or indoors?Yes I know this is a dumb ass question.
