Do they have a good reputation for being stable strains particularly there indica's?

Was planning on purchasing the following strains

- Afghan kush
- Afghan kush x black domina
- Mazar kush
- Mazar kush x great white shark

I'm aiming for something heavy to aid sleeping

If anyone has grown/smoked or just know if they are reliable strains then opinions are appreciated

I am interested as well, but on the other end of their spectrum, especially the landrace sativas and African strains...

I hope someone runs this gear out and can throw down some advice.

I grew WoS Afghan Kush last year and am still using the tincture and/or hash for insomnia. It definitely works. If I feel a bout coming on I'll drop some tincture before bed. If I wake up in the night and can't get back to sleep I'll hit some hash and doze off within 30 minutes.

Check my signature for the grow journal.

I got a pack of the Afghan and a Pack of the Pakistani...I'll be running them this fall, we shall see.

I recommend a fairly long veg time for the AK. I was just doing a test run with it but the yield was not too great. I definitely liked the plant structure and resin production though.

I had two Mazar kush plants in my last grow. Two totaly different plants, one was huge and the other was like the size of an aitoflowering. No stink, no dank, no smell, no nothing.. But the most important thing is that the final product was absolutely low quality. It was some of the most indifferent plants I have ever grown. Although I'm hearing good things for the Afghan kush. The Mazar kush for me was a total zero, it was really a waste of time effort and money let alone the final disappointment of the unsmokable final staff, move over..

Ive done Afghan Kush several times their genetics are right on the money. And this baby will rock you to sleep.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I was also looking at the Pakistani valley. I might look more into the Mazar kush and if a lot of reviews arent to good ill change it up for the Pakistani valley i think

I was not impressed with the Afghan kush. All different sizes, and barely any side branching.Wimpy looking. Not good enough for my flood table.Put all 4 in pots and stuck them out back.Got 1 male out there too.Its mother natures problem now.Hoping for some decent smoke.

Lol no i think mother nature's gonna be just fine, you'll have the "problem" when mother nature runs her course and all your lil girls get pollinated

I've got the WOS Kush x Skunk 3 weeks into flower. It is growing beautifully and frosting up already. She is medium height, very robust, easy to clone and has a very sweet smell to it. I can't vouch for the final product, but it looks great so far. Very hearty plant.

Thats cool! No problem.Been years since I smoked seeded bud,and I will smoke it! Im sure my ak-48 and translove will get pollinated too.Hoping to get plenty of extra seed for outdoor grows. All just for fun.

Haha, thats cool, thats why I put problem in quotes, because its only really a problem if your girl herms or if you just hate seeded bud. I kinda like a few seeds sometimes because I like to grow them (obviously) but I dont like branches full of seeds lol

How far apart are the males and females? You plan on limiting/controlling the pollination at all or just letting nature run its course?

i never keep males alive outdoors for longer than week 3 of their flowering period, by then i know if they are any good or not. if they aren't worth it i simply kill them, keeping males outdoors leaves you liable for other people problems like pollination and whatnot, especially if you have nearby neighbors. pollination can occur from male plants, up to a mile away.(drier climates allow pollen to travel further)
