The THC percentages that they give are blatant lies, we should all be able to agree on that. Doesn't that say a lot about a company? The fact that they are willing to deceive customers to make large profits. Their site is full of the crudest marketing tricks. They give warnings such as "Limited Quantities, only a couple dozen packs. If you interested, order today. TOO MANY OF YOU WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE"!
I know there has been a lot of discussion regarding the Cannabis Cup being unfair and biased but that shouldn't matter. If BC Seeds entered a strain which had a THC content in the mid-forties, which they claim, they would surely dominate the competition.
Also, I have noticed that BC does more cannaboid play (or research and tweaking) than any other seedbank by a mile. Even if its all made up, thats alot of effort they went to, to name and list all the successful uses for each one they have.
So you're prepared to give them credit for something even if they just made it up? You sound like the type of person who is easily seduced by infomercials. Your talk of their "research and tweaking" makes me think of the Extenze(a penis enlargement pill) commercial in which you can see scientists in lab coats examining beakers full of mysterious liquids. It's all just an illusion presented in order to justify their insane prices.
I have no desire in their yeild claims though for myself. Only their content claims. Again its for medicinal field, not stoners and max profit. (IN MY CASE). so it made good sense to me and my partner to come in at their ENTRY LEVEL, WORLD STRONGEST STRAIN. The original 40%+ one they brought out, now that they have 6-7 "stronger" ones, these are much more reasonable.
Again, they shouldn't be lying about potency or yield. Especially if the number they give is wrong by a factor of 10.
Why on earth would a strain which is supposedly over 40% THC(which it's not) be beneficial for medicinal use? Even if such a potency existed it would only be of use for those who want to get extremely high. It would make much more sense to buy a high quality, well respected and proven indica strain for a significantly lower price.
If we get 30% content or better, we continue with the seedbank and try other strains. If we dont, we dont. Sounds pretty simple to me.
Sounds simple-minded to me. That kind of consumer approach would just endlessly waste money.
