banana peel tea is Santaria Ju-Ju. until microbes break it on down, those macro-molecules are useless to your plant. throw them into your compost![]()
Plenty of microbes in an organic soil Alejandro.

I want to start a new worm farm (hard to wait after reading this thread) and am split between two buys, since I don't know which of them will be the smarter purchase!
1. Live Californian Red Worms For your composting bin 400 Grams.
Will, with live worm delivery guarantee cost me 38.31$, where delivery is about two thirds.
2. Red worm Starter colony *Seeds of Life* -> about 3 oz. of nearly finished organic compost, containing lots of red worm capsules (eggs) and maybe even a few worms.
Will cost me 35.75$, where delivery is about 25$ of this sum.
What I'm curious about is which one will turn into an OK sized worm farm faster ???
You for sure want LOTS of live worms. Go with #1. You can prepare the bedding in the meantime.I want to start a new worm farm (hard to wait after reading this thread) and am split between two buys, since I don't know which of them will be the smarter purchase!

Can I start cooking some soil while I wait on my first batch of castings? Maybe mix it altogether when its done. It will be about 2mo for both to be ready.
they multiply.I want a worm bin. But the worms they sell are so damn expensive. I have lots of organic matter for them too.
