worst co worker experiences?

some of you may remember i posted up a thread about a co worker who had a concealed weapon permit who was mentally unstable. since then I've gotten back to the point where we can talk to eachother without her giving me an attitude or just flat out ignoring me. well, today i got into it with another co worker who was giving me a shit attitude for the past few weeks. this morning he finally blew up when I was sweeping "too fast" according to him. this co worker, we'll call him "bob" was mad because I was working too fast. can you believe that shit? I responded in a calm and cordial manner asking him if I had offended him in some way and if so that i would apologize and that I didn't want any trouble. instead he ignores what I said and continues to berate me about how i work too fast so I blew up and yelled "fuck you" and stormed out.

thinking about my reaction now I'm embarassed about it but i still stand by my stance that it was a rediculous thing to yell at someone for especially since bob likes to take smoke breaks every 15 minutes and make 10 minute phone calls once an hour when the boss isn't there. i'm still livid about the situation, wish i would have kept my cool and ignored him and just continued to work... too late now.

now I have to wait for the call from my boss. I can picture the scene in my head:

boss walks in the shop, "the growery didn't come into work today?" bob replies, "no he stormed off and said "fuck you" to me."
boss says, "really!? i wonder what his problem is" bob replies, "i don't know, he has a real bad attitude"

i can't wait to tell the boss the argument was over me working too fast. rediculous.

sorry for the rant. can someone else post about bad co worker experiences and what you did?

sorry its bad enough to deal with a bad co worker then to just vent to no one about something that can't be dealt with in the first place..complaining to us will do you no good, if your worried about the gun thing then let the boss know you feel uncomfortable with him and his gun.. other then that stand up to him and don't be a pussy maybe he will gain some respect for you and stop treating you like a retard.. just my opinion

yeah being told by a co -worker i know that i need to live life without the things like, a/c, money,savings, nice clothes for work, and keeping anything for myself to help my next generation come is un-Christ like and hell await me basically. not to mention he has all those things and some.

Wow, that EXACT. SAME. THING. Used to happen to me at my job-- I feel your pain. The 'born again Mexican' I worked with would always bitch about every little thing I'd do and once decided to nitpick my sweeping around the paint booths and say shit like, "you're a woman, you should know how to clean better than that" (when you shouldn't even be sweeping near while the painters are working ANYWAY) and I told him 'get off my dick and go back to kissing gods ass, you self righteous sack of shit' and threw the broom at him and went home >.> I mean, that was after months and months of harassment and his stupid sexist remarks. There were worse situations where I should have stuck up for myself though....anyway. You're not alone at least

I had 2 supervisors who like to harass Native Americans. Used to crack jokes about drunk indians, and lazy indians. Finally, I asked the primary instigating cunt why he didn't talk shit about the crazy indians that like to scalp honkies who talk too much shit. And, I found a new job, the next day.

once when I used to work . I got so pissed because the coworker was such an ass hole would not shut his mouth , im a quiet guy get a long with every one. young punk showing off to his friends pissed me off by being disrespecting me, I lifted him up by his neck threw him onto a car hood held him down for a few squeezing his neck . the finally let him go , never had a problem with those punks again ,, keep in mind these are hung over punks, used to work in a autocare shop. so lot of total assholes druggies drunks work there. the 2 managers seen me do it. never said a word about it, I was not going to hurt him just scare the shit out of him I did not lose my temper all the way, actually laughed at him after I let him go.

The people at my work Who do the least some how manage to complain the most about it.

This is where you up your game, get loud and talk smack first If you slide the knife in harder they back off. Sigh... ascertaining pecking order I hated that portion of the program... The best stripe count I ever witnessed was two orthopods going head to head. Finally one called the other asshole. So now it was on or so we thought.

Right until the other simply said, "It's Dr. Asshole to you!" he owned his ass we applauded the winner and the day moved forward... Pecking order established.

I'm such a passive aggressive person that it takes a while for me to do anything back to anyone though, and people find that out fast. Plus everyone plays the 'race card' and I told myself I'll never ever play the 'gender card' as long as I work in the automotive industry because I felt like I can do better than that~ :3

Had smoking buddy/co-worker ask if he could use a bay in my shop. to do his brakes. I said "Yeah, but make sure that when I forget you did the brakes there, there's no evidence to remind me." Dick is lazy as shit a lot of the time at work. Messy as hell. It's ok. I've seeded his yard, and his bushes, with 50+ seeds.

Maybe you guys should stop getting jobs where they hire dumbass's (are there 3 s's in the plural of dumbass lol). Iv'e worked with dumbasses before and they just like doing thing they way they always have since they started working there. When a dumbass is being a dumbass and wants me to do be a dumbass with them I do it, then they see how dumb both of us are now.It usually works when they can see how dumb someone looks doing what they were doing.

working on board ship you learn to get along or you tend not to make it back to port. shit happens.

My co-worker may be a lazy fuck, but, he can speak, and write, in an articulate and educated manner.

Man I let people do oil changes and shit in my garage under the same conditions. i was cleaning yesterday and found three used oil filters, ~10 gallons of black as shit oil, and a bucket full of coolant that looked like a combo of dexcool and regular stuff :/ nobody listens to me T.T

I had a manager say I wasn't a man right in front of customer. The customer was more offended then I was because she wanted me in a real bad way. She said something before I could. Dude was always saying some snyde bullshit. Its the only job I left giving a f bomb laced tirade, not my brightest moment but it felt good at the time.

Yea that instance was. I don't usually tell the gritty stories but here ya go.

We were trying to stay 6 units ahead on a trauma. We were already 60+ units in on. So I run into the core to grab the next round and find the person who should have been hauling blood doing a crossword puzzle... What do you say? Just what the fuck can you say to that? I blew like a Saturn 5 on launch.

I had to explain my reaction to a committee of my peers (and I use the term loosely).... They were not amused. I was censured for my impolitic behavior.

This is why I'm running so many miles today trying to pound my rage into the pavement instead of eating myself alive with it and I'm decades down the road and still seething. This is a lot of why I go off on such seemingly meaningless things. It's also why I rescue animals and not people today. For the most part

Ooooooohmygod. That doesn't SURPRISE me that someone would be doing a crossword puzzle (my mum works in a VA and they're a lazy/slow bunch) in urgent situations. Careless, it sucks that they're even comfortable enough to slack off like that! That's what makes me mad about people. Good for you though! Turning your rage into something productive. I should take note from you....xD

also, animals are generally cute-er, anyway.....haha!

In my school of thought, when you call in to work "drunk", your ass is canned. "Hey man, I drank a lot last night, till 6 in the morning...I can't come in cause I'm still drunk and I shouldn't drive."...Had a co-worker do that TWICE...He still never got fired.
