Would anyone be interested in participating in an auto grow thread?

I have grown outdoors before and never had slug or snails. I have managed to avoid the other problems I have encountered before. I thought I was going to be good this year... And now half of my autos look like this. My 4 photos look fine. But I have grown them before. My autos were going to be my variety and now idk if I'll get to finish any of them.

Brutal. I'm sticking to having an auto only tent. And all my outdoor photos in pots (so I can dodge the shitty weather) and keeping them in the pool area. Inside a fence, on concrete. I've been burned too many times any other way.

Well that is it for me. I am done growing outside. I am sure the constant rain has something to do with this but this is the first time I have ever had snails and slugs eating my plants... Yeah, that rain lets those slugs eat and thrive. Immediately, ring those pots with coffee grounds. Slugs generally don't cross them. You can also take a flashlight and a pair of pliers, go out at night and kill a shitload of them. A couple of nights of that treatment and you will put a hurting on them and plants will recover.

What do you do with the copper wire?

I've just sprouted 2 Royal Cheese autos from RQS got them in 4 gallon pots (as of today after sprouting them in peat pellets)...I have no real grow lights and now they have sprouted I want to put the pots (light soil mix with perlite) outside....overnight temps should be no lower than 10 degrees celcius with daytime temps in the mid 20's....is it ok to put them outside already and leave them there? I brought them inside for tonight....just looking for some reassurance..this is my first grow season and first time with auto's...I've got 3 Amnesia photos going in pots outside that I've just switched to 12/12 (by moving them into a dark 'shed' each evening) thx in advance...I hope to have some of the success I've seen you guys having and will post some pics soon....

The copper works if you put a current to it. By itself, copper is non toxic, think drinking water pipes, high end cookware etc.

I am going out there now, in the dark, with murder in my heart. In my hands are scissors, lineman pliers(work better on small ones) and a flashlight.

guessing at least 50 slugs that round. Mostly small ones now but that was effective.

As a side note, potatoes might be a good trap crop. A lot of them there.

I ordered some Dr Earth spray that is OMRI listed organic... That is supposed to kill snails and slugs... Or at least get rid of them...

There were 6 of them left out there this am. They all got a free trip on the USS NadaMas.

I did sing KoomBayYah as I was killing them...to kinda minimize any Karma effects..

Maybe Micheal row your boat ashore would have been better.

Only PNW has the big slugs. I don't kill the banana slugs, or snails. Never or rarely see damage from them.

Normal slugs, I kill regularly, with scissors. Only in or near the greenhouse.

Open field, I find keeping the weeds back, with crops that can dry out is plenty effective.
