Right. It felt good right away when i got it. Looked good, felt good, even smelled like nothing was going on that shouldn't have been. It just felt like it was going to be good and it has. For the life of me i can't remember how i found it either. Must've seen it here in the hydro drain to waste sub(which i do t see alot using it for some crazy reason. Probably just guys like to go cheapest route for non comercial small grows) or i jist googled best coco for growing but either way i love it and have no regrets since using it.
And it definitely cuts down on the bugs...

Fook yeah it does.
Found that coco you recommended at my local B&M. $25 a bag so thats awesome.
Any insight on pot size? It's a 2x4x6.2ft tent. I was thinking 7gal, but now that I'm going with coco, is 5 a better bet? Or no bug deal either way?
Is fabric the best option or does it not matter?

I have been using botanicare, but am open to other nute lines, any thoughts there?

PS...if you get sick of my incessant questions, please feel free to tell me to go do my own research and decide whats best for myself...and I'll take the hint...Hahaha

Coco does not need the same as soil. By going 2 gal you can water morr often simulating hydro and explode in growth. Even smaller as 1/2 gal can grow monsters in coco if you keep up the feeding. Size depends how disiplined you are in watering. I wouldn't use bigger than 3 gal though cause itll be a waste of coco.

This was version 1. Right from their site calculator. 1st number is grams per gal. 2nd and 3rd were ec or whatever cause i don't do that shit.

I grew 1 before this in a 1 gallon smart pot and pro mix,,yielded right at 60 grams. Same as sour livers in 1 gallon pot.
How much did they get out of their DWC sour crack??

So I was planning on putting these outside but now I am worried that is a bad decision. All my other outdoor plants have been chewed up so more than others... The northern cheese haze has already started flowering. The temps I am sure are warmer than is optimal... That is probably why it is already flowering... The RQS Diesel looks pretty good... Thinking of just leaving both of these inside for the rest of the grow... IMG_20190629_174357.jpg IMG_20190629_174348.jpg IMG_20190629_174352.jpg IMG_20190629_174402.jpg
I don't expect to get much off of these guys. But I can only smoke once every month maybe twice... So I just need enough to try some different strains. Of course I had dreams of pulling 4-6 oz off each plant but if I even get 1/2 oz that would be more than enough. I have some bigger photos outside that will give me some good yields.

So I recently bought everything I needed to try growing indoors using Coco and dry organic amendments... But I don't know if I want to mess with ph ing my water. I am a little over 7 and I have read I need to be between 6.5-6.8... so now I am thinking of using a more "Mephisto" method and using roots organic green light with great lakes water only soil on the bottom of the pots...

Where did you read 6.5 to 6.8? Tjat is definatley soil ph NOT for coco. Coco is a form of hydro. 5.8-6.2 is for this.

I follow mr canucks grow on YouTube and he uses Coco with organic dry amendments and he waters with a pH between 6.5-6.8

Well im sorry he is a go to for you but that's not for coco. Hope read up abit more before rocking the coco.
Well I still want to give Coco a try... But now I'm thinking I might get a few indoor grows under my belt with the light soil mix over the super soil first. I have only grown from start to finish indoors once and I wouldn't consider it a huge success. It was a few purple Ryder plants yielding maybe 1/2 oz total and you had to smoke an eighth to get high. The couple autos I posted above were not intended to be indoors start to finish... I feel a successful grow indoors for me would be maybe 3 autos in my 2x4 tent with a finished yield in the 1.5-2 oz per plant... I will be using a 260 watt HLG V2 quantum board light. If I can start getting an ounce or 2 off my autos in soil... I'd like to try in coco
