would love some input on perpetual soil grow idea

ok so i want to do a perpetual grow to harvest 4 strains every month.
the strains.
Afghan kush
big bud x norther light
purple murok
and a bag seed female.

for my veg room i want to have a 2x2 area to fit 4 buckets and veg for one month (4wks) under 3k lums/sqft Cfl will run about 200w.
then before moving the strains to the flower area i will take my cuttings at about wk3 so i have a week to wait and make sure clones root( 5-7 days is my normal root time)

For Flowering i want to do 4 plants under a 600w hps and then when the 4wk vegers are done i will move them to the outside of the 4 already month into flower plants.

I will not use mothers as the plants that are vegging will serve as them.

*I have done a grow simular to this but it was 2month veg and 2month flower.

my question is if this sounds like a doable op or not i dont want to waste time and space with mothers thats why i cut the step out.
the flower area is in an open Room covered top to bottom in mylar that is a 10x10 room i will keep the plants under the 600w with the 4 oldest ones directly under the light tell harvest then move the 4 from around to under the light i am only looking to harvest about 1.5 to 2oz per plant..((THIS IS A GUESS ON HARVEST, based off the fact that i currently get 3oz per plant but they are given room and have the 600w and about 200w of cfl as side support.

I'd keep one mother and let your veg plants veg in that situation. Better to stunt and shock a mother than do it to a plant in veg mode building up for flowering. IMO of course.

You are going to need another 600w lamp in your flower room, it sounds like you have the space. If you are moving four plants in every month and letting them flower for eight weeks a bottleneck of sorts is going to happen after about month three. Compounded by the fact the second group out of veg has been "lurking in the shadows" for four weeks and won't be where the first ones were after month one. Not to mention you have four different strains with most likely four different growth characteristics and nutrient requirements. Are you going to yank stuff out that's not ready?

Perpetual grows are best left to commercial endeavors and one strain, or at a minimum one light per strain. If you want a change of pace to your smoke grow one, maybe two strains per cycle and change up every 2 to 3 cycles. Your brain matter and sanity will thank you. Good luck!

i agree with blueberry bud on most of it. the second light and th bottle neck but i think with the second light you will have the room in case of one or two need o little more time as long as not to much different you can always but some in to flower sooner to get to harest time the same for all if thats better for you once you know how long each one takes to mature

Go big to grow big with lights and air handling equipment. I suggest 1000 watt lights. The extra power used is minmal and the heat is not that much more. But your yield will be far better.

I tried to do this myself... I failed miserably. Eventually you will run into a plant that finishes slow or a plant that is super vigorous and that will mess up the schedule.

maybe it would of worked better with just ONE strain
