would starting 12/12 for the first 2wks with a 600w mh then switching to a 1k hps be

got some girls, due to go into 12/12 soon, that have gotten pretty big on me and wanted to know, if i was to do like how i stated in the topic would it help keep them from stretching as much as oppose to starting out with the 1k hps? thanks in advance.

i always give my plants MH light the first 2 weeks of flower. i even feed them veg base nutes and don't add additives till week 2.

I take my clones from the bin as soon as they are rooted and put them into bud under the hps. I gave up on vegging and MH lightbulbs. Vegging with MH is a waste of time and space. I put seedlings directly into bud also. I feed my moms and extra clones the spent water from my budders.
