Would this be enough for 2 plants flowering?

Hi I recently invested in a CFL giant light to give my plants when they flower .

I have two 20L pots which has a plant each on it .

will this light be sufficient enough to produce good dense buds

the plants are only seedlings rn and I have them under a LED Panel
Really want to give cfl a shot
This is 200w

With the right reflector..... maybe. Wouldnt hurt to use it in combination with the led. Using a reflective 2x2 tent would also help.

Would you not recommend something like a lamp lead at all? As I was intending of hanging over my plants (grow box) my box has Mylar inside it, would that help?
I was planning on using it with my LED tbh mate

Yeah its probably enough. I am recommending using both the cfl and a led is there a misunderstanding? There are others that have more experience with those bulbs.

Oh is the inside of your grow box all mylar (including the ceiling)? If it is then you probably dont need a reflector. Ive only used LED's for sprouts and I have never grown under CFL. Always big 600-1000w HID for me.

Yes that’s what I meant. In that case thanks for the feedback ! Will just be cautious with it at first and possibly keep my fan on more often as I don’t want heat problems, I’ve heard anything over 100w cfl can generate a fair amount of heat.

Yes i would expect a fair amount of heat off that bulb. I dont know a ton about grow boxes but i know weed needs constant circulation of fresh air when growing in an enclosed space like a box or tent so the heat shouldnt really be an issue if you have your environment correct.

I'm in a small tent atm mo with 2 x 200w cfls iv found that in a small space at root level with em both on I was hitting the 25mark at around 5.30pm and it keeps em at about 24 after 8pm, I have the fan on around 20/30 percent all the time without it temps go into low 30's pretty quickly

Also when I started them under a 200 watt on its own the temps were at a steady 24.4 for the most part that was without the fan as hadn't got delivered by then, you won't get them much closer than about 4"s before it starts to wilt your plant the bulbs do get hot enough to burn if ya hold your hand on em when they've been on for an hour or so
