Would this lighting work?

It should work, the link doesn't have the specs I look for.

Color Temp? is it 2700k or 6500k?

For veg 5000k and up is best.
for flower 2700k and lower is best.

How many plants? I think the 42watt bulbs are good as overhead lights but you should also add some 23 watt bulbs for side lighting or even some 2' tube fluoros if you have space. Both are cheap options and seem to do the trick.....

Like what i plan to do is have 2 of those bulbs hanging overhead of my plants... nd then once they start growing adding more lights. But ive heard both ways that those lights wont work i need alot more.. and i also hear that it will work.

2 42w's for 2 plants will work fine.

make or buy a reflector for better results.

These are the reflectors i got.. and in my grow room (i dont know if this helps) but i got street signs around the plants in hope to reflect more light towards them.

Also nemad on a differant post u said 40w for each plant.. the lights im looking at are 42w each bulb but says equivalent to 150w each.. So if i had 2 bulbs going, would it be 2 plants or would it be like around 7?

Those reflectors would work but you could probably make something better/more efficient. If you want really want to grow two plants healthy and as fast as your setup will allow plan on adding light in the veg stage and carry it over to flower. I would do one 42w bulb per plant plus 4-6 more 13 or 26 watt CFL's. Basically the more you can fit in your space and maintain the temp the better.

I dont got enough lamps/sockets for that many light bulbs. Right now i only those 2 reflectors plus i got a desk lamp that also has a similar reflector.
