Would this of worked?

First off - great site! theres lots of helpfull people on ere so keep doin wat ur doin!

Ok so i built a grow box after lots of research and finally finished it a couple of months ago...

however,

Soon after completion i had to move and my new place meant i had to get rid of the box im just curious tho, do u think my design wud have worked? i had height issues as i intended the box to fit into a work space in the loft so the box was only 40 inch high, 26 inch wide and 28 inch in width.

inside i had a Pro Grow 180 led light from Hydroponics Hut as well as a 50watt Plasma also from hydroponics hut which i never got round to fitting. i also had an s&p td160 inline fan with a rhino carbon filter.

so what r your thought on my build guys? Im so pissed i never even got to grow in this fing but i learnt alot doin this and think i cud probli build a better one if my circumstances where to ever change...

I'd probably go with something a bit taller. But you could fit like 16 inch plants under there. I'd also use HID lighting.

Whats with the bend in the fan? I can't quite tell where it's going. It looks like a decent fan, but that bend is going to kill your CFM I'd try to do that a different way, I'd suggest suggestions but I can't tell if it's cooling the light directly, or if it is just going through a loop and out again which is what it looks like.

Nusky is right that fan looks kinda useless. Not to be a Dick just shootin straight with ya.

Hey fanx for the replies! this box was the maximum height i could have it unfortunately, but if i ever make another i would have it much taller! As for the fan, Nusky your right the loop goes carbon filter - ducting (in a c shape) - S&PTD160 - ducting - Exhaust. Ideally this would have been outside the box but again i was limited by noise issues. If this fan had to be housed within the box, what would be the best configuration of the equipment inside? Fanx in advance!

sorry i forgot to mention the fan is not directly cooling the light... i fink i had anuva picture of the top area... ill c if i can find it

would have worked fine just not for large plants and can only either flower or veg at one time.
