should be fine, but you will probly pull more air if ya move the fan away from the flexy hose or visa versa, those fans pull air from the sides more then the middle, leave a 6" to 12" space between them will probly suck more air

to control the noice go to home depot and get a dimmer switch that the can plug a lamp into and then that goes into the wall turn the dimmer down slightly and the fans will slow down and the end result LESS NOISE YAY lol its like a ten dollar fix

My first responce is that you have about 40 sq. ft. of growing space, but you only have about 12 sq. ft. worth of lights (@ 50 watts/sq. ft.). 600 watts divided by 40 sq. ft. is only 15 watts/sq. ft. - that ain't much!

Secondly, get a ceiling fan speed control instead of a "dimmer switch". They look very similar, but are intended for two seperate purposes. They are usually sold in the same area of the store.

Hi thanks for the reply, 3x5 out of the 8x5 is my veg/clone room/chamber...and that will be covered using growking 6400k CFL's , I do know about the speed controllers availible...but was sceptical about weather they worked...
Cheers

the longer the exhaust line is the less noise the intake makes thus if you run 10 feet of tubing as compared to 2 it will b much les sound.
