This strain has gave me "problems". I started flowering this Jan 20th. Why did my other strains finish at normal times? I am impressed by this strain though. I am revegging to see how it does under optimal conditions. Possibly use some Colloidal Silver and get some feminized seeds from this gal. I had grown this strain out before and the phenotype was nothing like this one. My temps have been fluctuating this whole grow 50s all the way up to 95. This strain seemed to like the stress or whatever was going on. It had a poor soil mix with too much vermiculite. All the other strains i grew this run finished at normal times. This one's trichomes JUST STARTED TURNING AMBER after decreasing the light cycle down to 10 hrs a day for two weeks. There are still a lot of white pistils also

400w HPS/MH
Only one 400w HPS was used for 20% of flower time
I switched between the MH and HPS a few times, but never just running the MH bulb by itself. I used MH/HPS Combo for most of flowering. I used two HPS for a short time, it was getting really hot. (I ran 3 400w for like two days, but temps got to like 100 for like an hour.

5 Gallon Pot
Mainline/LST
Veg Time: 45-50 days

I did defoliate this during the whole grow, it kept having random fan leaves die in the buds. (brown leaves). Tying down the branches was fun, I used a lot of binder clips around the rim of the bucket. I also used some long wire used for fake flowers to wrap around them. I found them. This method works well, You can tighten the zip ties and move them little by little each week. That way you can make sure your branches wont snap or stress too much.

Soil
Too much vermiculite in the soil, it was a strange soil mix. I had some 30% Vermiculite | 20% Perlite | Single bags of compost (Cow Munure Compost) and Potting soil. The whole soil mix from WalMart and leftover soils. I wish I would of had more perlite, but i did have much money when I started.

Nutrients
Tap Water
Veg
Fox Farm - Grow Big
Flower
General Hydroponics - FloraBloom
Black Strap Moll asses
Pure Honey (2-3 times)

(Week 6?) - One heavy feeding with a small of amount of Triple Super Phosphate 0-45-0 powdered, a few pellets (very small amount) Muriate of Potash 0-0-60 fertilizer. I made enough to fill half a teabag, I crushed it all to powder as good as I can. I boiled some water with this stuff in it and let it boil for like 30-45 minutes. Stired frequently, lots of bubbles. I then let it aerate in water for like a week. I diluted the gallon between around 4-5 and fed each plant.

Looks like you have some foxtailing going on in there. Every time I've gotten it the plants have ran longer. They produce lots of growth but it takes quite some time for them to finish up. The dope's good though. It's a pain in the ass to trim around those little fingers. After it dries you'll notice the "finger buds" are spindly little stems surrounded by herb.
I've found high temps are the culprit. I haven't looked into it beyond a quick search here. The little foxtails will push off new pistils and small calyxes. On top of new trics. Peek around in some of the lower bud areas that are normal and you'll probably find a lot of fully mature bud.
I usually get it right directly under a light. Heat there is usually a little bit higher as well as light intensity.
While it looks impressive you'll probably get a totally different result in an ideal set up. Not to mention a normal run time.
Although I have a pheno that foxtails nicely in my outdoor climates. I like running her because she'll do it up until the temps drop down to a normal level. Which gives her an ample amount of time to mature nicely on top of the crazy buds. But it's a whole different ballgame when she's ran with very controlled and lower temps inside. Still good yield but not insane. So the pro is a load of buds. The cons are prolonged flower time and a PITA to manicure.

I really want to see how this does with a really long veg time and mainlining. Try to get 60-70 tops with one plant in a 18 gallon rope handled tub :-)

CH9 Seeds Humboldt is a hybrid of Haze, if it takes so long to flower, you probably find a phenotype with a lot of haze in it (haze can take up to 24 weeks to flower), it's an excellent idea to re-veg it and make your own feminized seeds. I'm sure you'll end up with some amazing bud 100% worth waiting for.

It yielded 162 Grams :-)

For a 5 gallon in soil I would say that is wonderful

Almost 6oz of a 5 gallon. I wanna see this bad boy in an 18 gallon vegged for 60-80 days. Then we can see if we can get aboutapound of one plant :p

Holy shit that's a long time for only that much weed.

You'll def do better in a bigger pot. I've grown a one pound plant in a 35l pot. 8 week veg and 8 week flower. Scrog style.
