Got a grow box 2feet deep, 4feet wide 5 feet tall, and looking at using 4inch exhaust fan system with rating of 170cfm. Inline fan will be 170cfm as well. U think the will be sufficiant enough air flor to keep box cool, and smell down?

Depends on the light and temp of the cabinet. If I were you (this is not gospel), I'd get a Nextgen 400/600 digi ballast and a cool tube. Use a 300 or so cfm vortex or elicent 6" fan to exhaust and pull rather than push the air through that tube. Start with a 400 and if temps are manageable try a 600. You could get 4 to 6 good sized plants in there depending on your method, grow them in veg to 18 to 20 inches and flip to 12/12(some strains stretch more than others, especially Sativas). Put a small oscillating fan in there for air movement to strengthen the steams and you're good to go. Likely once the nutes/ph/stars align, you could easily pull 5-8 oz this way. Hope this helps!

Well my current grow box is in 2nd bathroom with at 250watt hps, and mh for veg.(no cool tube :( I starting small, first grow. Since I havent started flowering, I leave the box door open now, and shut bathroom door during dark hours. Im on a budget, and the 170cfm fans are all I can afford now, you think they'll work, or are they to small to mask smell, and take care of heat? Plants are currenly 2weeks or so from flower stage-
