So I found out I have the perfect freaking grow room. I have a dead empty attic that runs the whole length of our duplex, and the only entrance is in my closet's ceiling. Thinking of just getting a 400w HPS and sticking that up in there. And what else is great, its actually really cool up there. Im stoked.:joint:

Be SURE that your the only one who will be able to see/smell it.. Just remember ... you have neighbors.. Sounds risky to me..

actually i dont have neighbors. I pretty much live in the hood both houses beside us are empty, my bud a few doors down ran some big deal in Canada with triads and what-not. He's taken me under his wing. The other people on our block deal EVERYTHING. I seriously live in a neighborhood name Ripple City, notorious, and no one gives a damn. =)

u sure it doesnt get hot? my attic is insane in summer. plus with the HPS light...thats gonna give a nice healthy boost to the temp. Throw a outdoor thermometer thingy up there for a day and see exactly how hot it is.

My guess is WAY TO HOT there to grow.. o_O my attic can reach temps of 200F easily if the temp is around 100f outside without cooling.. risk of fire actually..

my suggestion is do something you can better control temps with if possible..

Its not hot up there, and i dont know why. it stays pretty much 80 in our house. and its just as cool up there. Theres nothing up there, no light, no windows, only way to get up there in the whole duplex is through my closet.....Im in NC i dunno

i say do it. why not? i would. make sure if you are in a duplex that the adjoining house doesn't have access also. if so nail it shut. then grow for it!!! if it gets hot you can get a little air conditioner. everyone else does.
