How are you measuring your PH? Solution or digital meter?
In my experience, FFOF is very hot. My first 2 unsuccessful grows were due to using FFOF with their nutrient line. Completely baked my plants. If I were to ever use FFOF again, I would use the soil as a standalone solution and wouldn't use their nutes unless well into the flowering period. It's simply too much. Without knowledge of the feeding capacity of the strain, using FFOF with nutes is a recipe for what you're seeing with your plants.
If you're dedicated to soil, take a look at some supersoil recipes. SubCool makes a really good one that has given me some great results in the past. You can find the recipe easily online. His recipe is scaled for large scale grows, but with some simple math you can scale the recipe to smaller grows.
Another option is to start in a very light soil like Light Warrior, then move to Roots Organics, then move into Super Soil for flower using Roots Organics as a filler soil. Had really good results using this approach.
