BUTTERS YOUR GROUNDED. lol. no im just kidding. its good to have you along for the ride! the air pots are too good ... by that i mean the roots grow too fast. its not fair for me because i cant keep transplanting these into bigger pots ... lol. Hey everyone , heres a few pictures of the girls and my nute line up. I just went to the hydro store yesterday and got all kinds of goodies to prepare for flower , yall will see them later on in the journal . Flower is coming soon soon soon , and the ladies are looking better than ever so stay tuneeeed!

I think i am going to supercrop these bitches too ... hmmm.

also, you might want to supercrop and do anything that would otherwise stress them out right away, so that they're pretty well over the stress by the time you stress them with the induction of flower, so that your buds pop out really hard and fast

Yeah man, procrastination! Everything always seems to fall into place just when it needs to so i think we are gonna be just fine! : ) . Im gonna check out your grow in a second! Before you flipped did you put in 36 of darkness , or did you just flip the shit? lol. : D! i hear you loud and clear on the supercropping being done a bit before flower I wanna flip them at 13" butll itll probably be a few more days till they reach that so i think ill have time. oh by the way Have you supercropped? results?

Hey I have been growing in canna coco for years and love the stuff,I notice in your list of nutz you did not mention a calcium and magnesium additive,when your leaves start to yellow in veg its not nitrogen you will need to get some type of cal-mag,if no one has mentioned this yet.

You should see how big the blackjack gets outdoors,really strong big bushes,that I think will yield 150 to 250 gs a plant,really fruity strain,cant wait till august.

The woman at the hydro store has talked me out of buying cal mag 5 times! she says i dont need it ... lol. You would think canna themselves would make an additive for that problem.

I've used a 19/5 schedule for the past month, since the HIDs have been in (they were on 24/0 with only CFLs for a month and half before that). So this last dark cycle, I gave them a couple more hours of darkness, and now they're on 12/12. I've heard 36 hours of darkness just stresses your plants more than simply being flowered so suddenly and doesn't necessarily produce more phytochrome, the flowering hormone. The closest way to nature would be to step up to 12/12 on 1 or 2 hour implements every other day. But then you don't get those long hours of veg. growth right up until flower, so I don't know how the yield of both systems would compare. More veg. growth is more bud sites, but more phytochrome and less stress is a harder onset of flowering, which usually means that the momentum carries through til Harvest.

I topped most of my tall plants once (didn't FIM or anything, since I was worried enough about cutting my girls for the first time) and fully tied the Sativas; the Indicas don't lend themselves to as much tying as the Sativas, so I tied them less so; the Hybrids kinda just let me know when they need tying by stretching a branch out into the shadows. So there are ties on pretty much all of the plants, but only the Sativas have the majority of their branches tied; the Indicas and Hybrids generally only have side branches tied, with maybe a tie on the side to arch the entire plant and get more light into the center.

The results are definite; way more branching and overall filling-out-of-space, but it is to be seen whether or not these new branches will be strong enough to support top buds. there are fans on everybody, but I think their potassium intake needs to go WAY up.



I'm also using Ginormous as a foliar to aid in the transition; I recommend something along the same lines, whether it's Bud Blood, Open Sesame, Ginormous, etc.

Hey people! just wanted to do a quick pic update! the girls are doing so damn good! Ever since i started upping their nutes again they are speeding up growth at unbelievable rates!
Flower has been bumped from today to the 30th. And ill be taking clones either tonight or tomorrow night seeing as the girls are finally amost ready. good times! : D

Dude welcome to the grow! Thanks for the compliment , this is my first grow and without any real training these girls are bushy as hell! I hope i get AROUND a lb! What are you using now? I updated from the 400 two weeks after i got it to the 600 : / . hahah . the 600 is where its at! if you can afford to , buy that! Chill for as long as you want! flower starts soon!
