They're swollen pre-flower pistils.
Jesus H. Christ...
Calm down dude lol. We already determined what they were, this is my first grow had no idea what they were. Pre-Flower also means "before" you flower, which is not the case. Like i said, I'm 5 weeks into flowering :D

From what I've heard the White line is really prone to hermaphrodism. I've done a few runs of White Rhino and had them hermie on me, as you can kind of see in the pics at the top of this page of my journal:

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/355954-second-time-out-white-rhino-3.html

The pics you posted, as noted above, are of the calyx, which both male and female plants have. Ed Rosenthal's grow book says that you can do early sexing of young plants by looking at the calyx...female are directly connected to the stalk, while males are on a short stem. Hermies show via small yellow "bananas" that are actually in the flower. So check your buds for bananas! Damn good looking plant there my friend. Hope she finishes up well for ya.

look like calyx with pistils coming out, no balls from what i can tell
Exactly. Calyxs with pistels. Calyx is the female ovary. After a lil while longer the pistels die and the unfertilized ovaries become bigger. And full of triches. The good ones, with the heads on top.

Yes they are calyxs. They are the same preflowers that you saw wen you found out it was a girl they ar just more mature than the others is all. Theoritically, you could pollinate them and have a seed grow in it(I once asked FDD about this and he confirmed that you could pollinate preflowers even in veg but I am yet to test this myself) but there are no male flowers that I can see.

pull a cpl of random ones off and have a look inside of them. if they have the pistils and a seed looking thing inside its herm otherwise keep an eye out for male flowers but week 5 you should have seen the males already.
but ive only ever seeded a plant once so cant really tell for sure i usually jsut use mothers and clones

They are also referred to as 'false seed pods' since they look very much like the real thing after it has grown a fully developed seed. If you have a plant that has been pollinated, either accidentally or thru a little selective dabbing of pollen to produce a small amount of seeds, the mature seeds will be found in similar pods in amongst the buds. If you want to get a batch of seeds without ruining the potentcy of the whole plant, then just dab pollen on a few buds (be sure to mark their location so you can find them easily when you harvest). You will be looking for those pods buried inside the buds. There will be 'empty' pods like those on a normal mature plant at the juncture of the stems. Pollen sacks are more like a cluster of grapes and grow on a short stalk. If you look at them closely, you will see they are formed by petals that are sealed to make the pod (where the pollen is stored until ready). When mature, the pod bursts to spread its load and the result looks like a flower when opened. If you choose to make seeds, be sure to keep the male far away from your females. When the pods begin to swell, it means it has a full load of pollen dust and will soon pop open to release it. You can pluck these larger pods and break them open to save the pollen, or just wait until they sprinkle their stuff over the fan leaves and try to brush it off into a container.

ok so ur point is that these are false seed pots?

hey guys how come yall have alot of green cubes and i dont?
Because you have no idea what you are doing here and never give any info, just comment on shit and spread misinformation

How do u have 600 posts and don't know what swollen calyx look like, you obviously have never flowered a plant. I could see the pistils comin out of them in the minimized pix on my cellphone lol.

Sorry but the question was already answered so thought id answer this one

My grammar is damn near perfect my friend. Always has been. I'm not perfect though and will make mistakes. Does that have anything to do with the fact that you are trying to come in here and say that everyone that grows should be the Einstein of growing before they start? Nope! I for one learn by doing things more effectively than reading about them. My results are fricken god mode for a first grow. I spent alot of time and money getting things right. I have asked questions about any type of uncertainty I had, including this one. 6 months ago, I for DAMN sure couldn't tell you what a pistil or calyx was. You are right about that. However, after reading and researching I figured out what they were, what they do, where they come from and where to find them on both male and female plants. How the hell is knowing what a calyx or pistil is common sense? Common sense is knowing that when you put a seed in the ground, it will grow. Now, is it common sense to know that it can grow in 24 hours of light? Is it common sense to know what kind of ferts to use, or when to introduce flowering nutes? If calyxs and pistils are common sense, then you are saying everyone needs to be a botanist basically.

Whatever, I'm done with this thread now this is my last comment here about this. I'm doing awesome on this grow I think. This may have been a simple question that growers should know, but I guarantee every single grower did not know what a calyx or pistil was when they first started learning. I did not start without the knowledge needed to get through my first grow ass wipe. I know exactly what I'm doing. Calyxs and pistils have nothing to do with how my plant is growing, unless they get pollinated of course. So again for the last time. There is no place for you here, man. This is a place to come ask questions, no matter how simple they are. This question was a simple one and now I know a little bit more about plants. How is this a bad thing or ignorant or whatever else you want to call it? It's someone trying to learn more about things and you ARE making discouraging comments when you come in here with shit like this. You are not discouraging me by any means though. Don't be thinking that you can have any type of influence on me like that. But you need to just tuck that tail between your legs and move on because NOBODY here is going to listen to you with comments like that. Peace out!

P.S. Saying that you should know everything about plants, including plant parts like the calyx and pistil, before you start growing is like saying you need to know everything about human anatomy before you can have a kid. That's just about as stupid as you can get. lol
