Good tip, KlosetKing. +Repi had the same issue with early aphids and what may have been larvae. i gave my soil a sprinkling twice (when the top 1/4 inch is dry, about 2 days after water for me) with diatomaceous earth. Relatively cheap, completely non-harmful to pets/humans, and is absolutely devastating to those little soft bodied critters. Also serves as a source of trace amounts of silica ;D
