Hey guys, thanks so much for all the advice. I went ahead and took the deformed leaf off; treated the rest of the leaves with neem oil. I doubt its root rot, she drains well and I only water when the pot feels light.

Hope she makes it through this. Fingers crossed!

She's 13" so I think I might flower once she makes it to 15.

Its definately not overwatered, plant looks great beside the one leaf. And good for you not going on a wild goose chase trying to fix an unknown problem. I bet she will be just fine. I gotta tell ya it boggled my mind how many people jumped on the P def bandwagon. I bet the closest most of them has come to actually seeing or experiencing one is right here on the ole 'puter. You can learn alot online. But it still is no replacement for ACTUAL EXPERIENCE! Its the blind leading the blind around here. And Mr Ghetto your one of the biggest fakes around, are you a person or a parrot? I will be glad when fall rolls around and you are back in school.

Thanks man, I took some pics of her just now. She's 14" tall and her nodes are alternating (I think they are anyways). Should I be putting her into flower soon do you think? Does she look ready or should I give her some more time? All of my plants are at least 12". I have 5' of grow space and they're all indica dom.

Oh btw one of my other plants has these stupid little yellow spots on some of the lower fan leaves. Anybody have any idea what might be causing this? No problems on the new growth though, far as I can tell.

that yellowing is from lack of nitrogen, feed it. And if your planning on flowering soon you might wanna think about learning how to clone before you throw her into flowering. You might love the weed and once she's flowered and chopped there's no way of getting her back.

The plant is eating the stored nitrogen the fan leaves and that's why your getting that

Looks more like spots from nutrient solution being splashed on them. And I would consider flowering them, they look ready too go. Just remember to continue your veg nutes for the first 7-10 days of 12/12 then transition to your flowering nutes. They definitely do not look N deficient too me.

You just dont chop the whole plant if you want to keep the strain. leave a few lower branches and some fan leaves and reveg. Many strains go nuts when they are revegged......a fun thing to witness.

From my personal experience, the lower fan leaves usually get some kind of discoloration or damage on every grow, even if the plant is super healthy, like in your case. I wouldnt worry about those lower leaves unless most or all of them were affected. Your plants look very healthy, so trying to "fix" a P deficiency is probably going to do more harm than good. I would say your plants are ready to flower whenever you want!

You need to make sure you are using a fertilizer that is high in phosphorus. The values are listed on the bag/container of nutes. I also agree with easing into the increase in strength, you don't want to stress your plant. But she should turn around nicely.

I don't endorse Advanced nutrients in any way but this guy makes some good points..

TRUE but what he is saying make logical sense... I am seeing that with my bb cross, I'm actually feeding double vegg food every other day and they LOVE it.. Sounds crazy but it's working out great

To be honest i didnt or have previously watched that particular video of his. So my blabering comment was general. You seem sincerely interested in these things. So look into this. The different leaching rates of phosphorous, mineralized soil vs soiless. And keep in mind coco and peat based mediums I consider soiless. The degree to which varies depending on the amendments. Factor, factors, factors...

I am hesitant to believe that salesman & his graphs, how credible is this lab test?
Perhaps these plants had excess iron or zinc in the medium binding the P not letting it get to the tissue? What was their growing medium?
What nutrients were used? Theirs?.......

Typically phosphorus is rather difficult for plants to take up so you need a decent amount in your soil so that the plant can easily absorb it. It is essential for resin production
It is called a Macro-nutrient for a reason

This concept of nute ratios should be very easy to prove or disprove with simple testing. Don't all of the other nute companies do this too, and they all seem to have a similar ratio.

Veg ratio 3-1-2 flower ratio 2-1-3(some are saying 1-1-3 now) are great places to start. P is widely abused in container growing...Sulphur often overlooked, especially during transition and early flower and calcium and magnesium are not kept in balance. Some do not realize these are macronutrients also...
