Go with the Hot Shots pal. Its cheap and easy, you wont regret it. Use as a preventative prior to flowering. Bud is expensive, so I don't take risks anymore.

Edit:

You'll probably just use it a couple of times before they all die

Mites aren't the kiss of death. Pick a method of eradication and be diligent.

You either need to hit em with a nuke like Avid or hit them multiple times to break their cycle.

haha off topic but from when I threw out the plants, some of them seemed to be 'clawed' is that from the mites too, or I could describe it as odd growth like spindly (sp)

I have to say im not an expert on these strips. Ive really only used them once for 48 hrs. It completely destroyed them, and I was seriously infested and plagued through 2 grow cycles. I had webs between the plants. I also cleaned everything completely.

I do think the will be effective for 8-10 hrs a day though. Maybe get two and leave one under the plants and the other just hanging around. Remove them when you enter the room and open a window for 5 minutes. TBH, youll probably end up leaving them in for longer.

You mentioned you hadnt been able to see them; They can be quite hard to see but once you know what youre looking for it gets easy. Theyre easiest to spot against a dark background like a plant pot. Theyre about the size of a pinhead.
