wtf! why is this happening? pics + + + rep

damping off disease is unfixable, once you have it its dead. its not so much about where you water the cube as it is how much, i just barely dip 1 corner of the cube into water for 2 seconds and thats it once a day till i see roots or the cubes are drying out faster. in the past ive soaked the cubes well and let them sit for 2 days and in that time all my seedlings died from damping off disease, the cubes just hold to much water for a young plant. once they have some roots and can actually drink they hold plenty of air and water for the plants to be healthy, just not right away.

i think shes still alive tough, there are new leaves forming and they are a healthy green.i think i have stunted the growth tough,my diesel seedling seems to be catching up and its a couples days younger then the skunk #1 above^.im going to cut back on watering.hopefully she stays alive.what do you think would happen if i throw it into some soil already? the roots havent came out the bottom yet.

Like everything else in this ¨Plant problems´ forum it is a GUESS.

Is it overwatering, underwatering, N def, Mg def, over ferting, underferting, pH too high, pH too low - is it a bug, is it a virus ?????????????????????
Well your guess is as good as mine or that of any other naive kid in here.

If that is your attitude, may I suggest you stay out of threads asking for help with plant issues? Botany is a science and there are plenty of educated and experienced growers on here that CAN and DO diagnose problems correctly and provide advice on corrections.

I'm hoping you just are having a bad day here, but if not and this quote is an indication of your attitude, please go hang out in politics or toke & talk and stay out of plant problems.

I suggest that you use a seedling tray and dome. spray water onto the bottom of the tray and place the dome on the tray and then under the light. The dome needs to be slightly vented with a fan blowing over it to encourage evaporation. You should remove the dome for short periods to allow the leaves to respirate and draw in fresh air as well. By 14 days, you can remove the dome and start to bring down the lights to "harden" the plants and prepare them for vegging.

im going to have to make a dome cuz the one i bought at the hydro store done fit in my box.im veggin in a 2ft cardboard box for now.https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/364841-skunk-1-raw-diesel-vanilla.html

what if i use a ziplock bag with some holes at the top?im afraid the dome will be to much moisture and humidity for these if shes already sad?i was told roots will pop out the bottom within a week. friday will make a week

i made a lil dome out of a pepsi bottle and it didnt not work. i left it there for a couple hours, when i got back home the leaves were wayyy more droopy and got worse. idk what the hell to do.

LMAO you couldn't be more right! For the most part I've noticed no one here really knows for sure what wrong with any of your/our plants. For me the best info i get is usually when I do my own google searches because they usually come with pictures it each nut def. or toxicity and what to do about it. Its also almost never a virus....

Its always almost always over-watering, or over-fertilization. It sounds like your killing your plant with love. Leave it alone.
Its going to take months to finish no matter how many times a day you mist it. Stop making things complicated. Water to the point of moisture not saturation. Those rockwool cubes hold water like a motherfucker.

If things get drastic, squezze the rockwool cube gently all around it until you squeeze out all the excess water. Your plant should respond within hours if it was over watering.

It looks kinda like nute-burn...your using a really weak fertilizer solution arent you?

Ive been giving out this site. It helps.

this morning she looks like this.her leaves are yellow but there is still new growth there which seems to slowwlly getting bigger.its weird cuz my diesel gets the same water, same ammount of water, etc and look healthy.

i stand by damping off disease, thats exactly what it looks like and ive had it plenty of times in the past. if you have it its dead, just not totally dead yet lol. careful with advice on squeezing rockwool, if its the only way to save a plant so be it, but you will effect its ability to hold air making it more likely to overwater in the cube in the future, granted once roots pop it dont really matter how much you water the cube if the plant can get air from elsewhere

That right there could indicate bad seeds.....

my diesel is already showing roots threw the bottom. this one was planted 2 days b4 and still has not shown signs of roots.im going to keep and eye on her.ive already cut down on the waterings. i let the cube get dry b4 watering again
