X-mas in March. New kind k5 LEDs

First grow and so undecided where to start or end. Amazon I power 600watt hps were my first choice then I went to Mars hydro LEDs now to the new 1000 watt k5's from kind.

Parden the mess and terrible room photo. I had all sorts of ventilation going on trying to kick the heat issue of so much power being generated. Anyways I swore up and down I was going to go super small and ended up pissing off my wife and a huge bill. The plants are 35 days old. Auto flowers, dinafem critical, Girl Scout cookies and some vast and fast. All in 7 gallon air pots with promix hpcc soil. Biobizz nutrients and some handy scrog contraptions from job lot. Thanks to all the helpful info posted on this forum I decided to go balls deep in my first grow. Think the plants look good, healthy and just started to flower.
After a long ass day at work I arrived home to see Santa delivered yet again. As for the choice in the k5's I have a good friend using 2750 watts from kind and he has amazing results so far. Without doing months of research I just decided to follow and pray.

Input is always welcome and thanks to everyone here for all of your knowledge I learned so much from.

Thank you for the warning lord.

I actually just took out the Mars hydros. I was surprised to read the sticker on the panels talking about leaving positive feedback. It's almost like these things are only sold on eBay.

The k5's are massive! I was constantly adjusting the 1 hps and 2 Mars hydros to gain maximum coverage and after some time of this I was still disappointed in coverage area.

You spent nearly 4000 dollars on 2 panels that are 600w actual

Needless to say, for that cost you could've done so much better

Hydro builder had a sale. 2820 shipped for 2 but yes I agree with some research and time I probably could have. I'm my area growing is fairly new, lol well as far as I know it is. I went off of proven yields from a very close friend. For a smaller grow doing autos only I feel the LED was a good choice. Kind led may be another topic. I was sold on features and ease of use. Adjustable spectrum, footprint and the remote. We all know the remote feature is worth 1/2 the cost. :wall:

I will get some new ones tonight after work.

Almost seems like it's taken time for them to adjust. A few stems and flowers are starting to pop right up.
