Has anyone grown this strain or smoked it or anything involving this strain? lol I want to do an all DNA genetics or reserva privada grow next year, but there seeds are pretty expensive so choosing the strains are critical, this one X18 sounds like the shit, but its a landrace, and I usually stay away from pure landraces, but this is apperently one of Reserva Privadas best strains...they also have Tora Bora which is X18 crossed with l.a. confidential...and i'll be growing outdoors...anyone have an opinion on this?

Haven't grown nor tried the X18 or Tora Bora.

The LA Confidential was pretty good smoke though. Not in the garden anymore, but that wasn't due to it being bad, but rather it just feel down the food chain.

We have some Reserve seeds growing now. Silver Bubble, Kandy Kush, and OG Kush. All appear to be doing just fine.

We have Reserva's OG Kush, Fem. seeds, growing now. If i remember correctly, it's the Chemdog '91 version. I'm not the person tending to this plant but rather someone with a bit more experience in cropping skills. We didn't want to mess this one up since we only had a select number of seeds to play with. Rather have someone with years of skills teaching these girls; not that it's hard, but I don't like chancing things when i dont have to.

I assume your ordering from Attitude. I give them a big thumbs up. Good people.

If your looking for something different from Attitude, I suggest the following:

Mandala Seeds "Satori" and "Hashberry".

We grew both of these a few harvests ago, and have 2 Satori's going right now that were clones from the last plants. I really like this smoke. I'm happy it "Made the list" and we decided to grow it out.

This was the first time we tried Mandala seeds, and this strain was very nice. I've seen better, but also MUCH worse. Worth the price by far.

The Hashberry was another "why not" try out. We got 1 really nice pheno that had produced well enough, and the taste was good. This is pretty much why we tried it in the first place. Worse case scenario, we make hash; amd we did. Turned out pretty nice amd i think one of the guys still has some. I'm "greedy" and went thru my "cut" pretty quick.

If your into "different" seeds, as i am, try out Joey Weed, Subcool, Mr. Nice or Dr. Greenthumb. A lot of people bitch about Dr. Greenthumbs prices, but honestly, I don't mind paying $200 for seeds when they are GOOD seeds that i can run that strain for a long time. Quality over quantity. Not to mention the guy is awesome in terms of shipping. Ok, enough "free" hype.

Joey Weed has some interesting strains and really fair prices. Subcool has some as well that have gotten great reviews, but i have yet to smoke any of Subcool strains. Got the beans, but with the way we grow, it may be a few harvest before a "slot" opens to allow a new strain into "production".

I like people who put alot of pride into their creations. The above mentioned people have clearly done that, and yet they aren't looking to rape me for a pack of seeds. I appreciate that.

Good luck with the hunt & grow.

I have grown Tora Bora. Very compact indica strain, bushy, short inter-nodal length, very potent, not too fragrant but minty taste. Very good selection. 8-9 week flowering.
