absolute !
especially the HLG AB version, 3 dials to influence the output.
takes me always a bit till i am in to it.
practically i just use a wattmeter to set them roughly where i want them, thats ok for my usecases.
rest i do with the external potentiometer.

Ya, my AB only has 2 dials. 1 onboard and the potentiometer. I also used a watt meter to tell me the watts being pulled.

I am new and got my 260w v1 kit a couple weeks back. I love it! I hope it's running full tilt since im just using the external dimmer it came with nd never touched the internal one haha. I think I'm going to buy the $50 v1 board/heatsink combo to fill up thek rest of my closet. Any idea if hlg will sell the wago connectors? Also y'all know which driver I should get? Xlg100 H-AB? Thanks in advance!

Oh wow, this was actually out of stock/sold out a few days ago. really really glad to see its available again for people!!!

P.s. it's hard to tell which model you'd need on account of these are kinda new. But I think it'd be XLG-100-H-A?...... or just be certain and use HLG-120H-54A/B

at least i found a current thread that is addressing my same questions. although i'm still totally f*(*&^g confused. is it easy enough to install a potentiometer on the xlg? i am inclined to go with the HLG-240 simply for ease of use, but not feeling super thrilled about paying an extra $40 for the pots if i can just install one externally. i get that they are slightly different in that the HLG has two possible adjustments whereas an external pot on an XLG would not offer as much variation. can someone give me a great reason NOT to get the XLG?

If you get the "B" or "AB" version, there's a plug on the BOTTOM side of the driver that you can remove to access a potentiometer with a Phillips screwdriver.

It’s been nearly a year..anyone use these xlg drivers. I change things around from time to time. I’ve ordered some xlg 240 m ab drivers thinking about grabbing a couple H’s

I have several xlg-200-h-ab power supplies, each connected to a single HLG QB96. I enjoy them and they let me get quite a range out of the QB96 while knowing I can't push it past the passive-cooled specs.
