so ya, 1.50 per light socket from home depot, and a 2$ extension cord, plugged in 6 60watt lights, will eventually use CFLs, but 60watts x 6 is 360 watts, so i could easily stick in 20+ 23watt cfls into one cord, i think the max would be somethin like 60 23 watt cfls, but ya this works great

ya with this i bet a sheet of glass and a computer can will keep my box cool enough to not harm the plants

yeh def get the CFL's, thats actually not a bad setup... if you want a real deal home depot sells a 100w CFL flood light. All you need is a replacement chord so you can plug it in and some wire nuts (the new auto-locking ones work best). cost me less than $80 and I can veg a whole buch of plants under it. Hell of a lot less than an envirolight and works just as well.

hey northern, how much are those floodlights and how many lumens u get from it, cause the setup im doing is costing me about 3$ per light and fixture set, so 50k lumens costs me about 80bucks
